Any chance some of the walls right behind SSE will start to get pushed back a bit in the near future? With all the paving they’re doing especially by the west side, it looks like that could be in the cards

Unlikely unless they lead somewhere or complete the circuit around SSE. Otherwise they'd just open up concrete to a dead end and incur uneven wear from guests.

My assumption is that this whole area will reopen at once.

Hard to believe that "Dreamers Point" area was once beautifully landscaped with a pond and palm trees...it got reduced and paved over at some point, but that would be better than what they are building... They keep talking about the new perspective the location will have, and then they keep talking about the thousands of trees they are dropping in... so will there be a view? or just a lot of trees?... I preferred the sweeping lawn and palm trees with pond version...at least it was open and colorful.

I swear they still dont know what they are doing, they are coming up with all of this as they go and most likely whatever is cheapest as deemed by the accountant lords. The park has no direction, its a throw it in the pot hole.

Just to clarify, I'm pretty sure they're speaking to the yet-to-be-paved terraced/elevated area where the Walt statue will sit when they talk about the new perspective Dreamers Point will offer.

it appears in the picture, the curbs are already in, and the retaining wall for a raised area...but I don't see any steps or access to the raised area...they also talked about interacting with Walt, but if he is going to be on a raised area, how ill tat be feasible? and the perspective view over the park would be for the statue not the guest? I guess I jus don't understand the plan based on the concept art they have shown and what they are building....

I hate these dinky curbs they’re putting in all over former future world. MAKE THEM RETAINING WALL BENCHES. I’m so sick of seeing people with no other option than to sit on the ground. Bad show. Bad guest service.

The raised area is at the southern edge of what has already been poured. In the very first shot from Bioreconstruct at the top of this page, you can see the foundation for the north end of the elevated area with a bunch of rebar sticking out. It, along with a planter for a large tree at the right, are encircled by temporary orange mesh fencing. According to the site plan, you can approach via paths on the left and right and ascend north from there. Zach Riddley reiterated after the redesign occurred that this area would be about 7 feet above current park elevation.

Just got back from seeing "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania", and, hear me out: Instead of the Play! Pavilion, an Ant-Man-themed pavilion to replace the Wonders of Life pavilion! It would have the Pym Test Kitchen from Disneyland Resort and a new motion-simulator ride, that would replace Body Wars, where guests would take a trip through the Quantum Realm! What do you think?

While that would be interesting, Ant-Manis is not a character they can use.

What if Mission Space pavilion ended with taking a "Space Cab" (omnimover) over to the Mars Base (WOL Building) ...windows out onto the martian landscape along the way...using newer technology with practical sets and screens combined to make a realistic dimensional diorama...THen in the WOL building, adding another attraction or two, restaurant, show etc and finally flesh out the Space pavilion we should have gotten. That could then be the Gateway to the Planets as part of that side of the park...a grander vision, a whole new pavilion to explore that is not based on dated VR games and selfies, but something way more epic. The interior already feels like it could be inside a space port...lean into it....
