Yes but they wouldn’t want to. It’s the service elevator, and the only one which reaches ground level.
You mean that if I'm near that column, it could suddenly open and a horde of basement dwelling CMs could come scurrying out of it? <shudders>

you know I can’t remember. I remember blue walls and wooden trim.@marni1971 this is pretty off-topic, but I can't get it out my head...
Did the queue for Maelstrom have carpeted walls?? I have the most vivid memories of that being the case.
Not basement. Just from the show building above. The cars just big enough to fit a ride vehicle in.You mean that if I'm near that column, it could suddenly open and a horde of basement dwelling CMs could come scurrying out of it? <shudders>

Even though you got your answer, I still want to mention the boy:Same... but somehow in my memory I remember running my hands over the walls and feeling carpet.

Must be the reason for this sign that was added last year (I think?)You mean that if I'm near that column, it could suddenly open and a horde of basement dwelling CMs could come scurrying out of it? <shudders>
That mural is honestly one of my favorite things in life.Even though you got your answer, I still want to mention the boy:

On my latest trips I've just been taking pictures of anything that's remotely interesting or could be used in a joke at some point because of the massive changes in the park. That was something I thought was hilarious and I'm still proud of myself for taking it.That mural is honestly one of my favorite things in life.
Amazes me that people always assume only good ideas come from WDI and it is only the mustache twisting executives who ruin it. Wonder what executive wrote that script for the current Imagination pavilion or designed that chicken hut at Pixar Pier. It's pretty sad that it's at that point. I'm sure WDI has great plans but once someone above them steps in it probably all goes out the window (read as "this is cool but you need to include the following list of properties if you want a budget").
I'm kicking myself for not taking more photos during my trip in 2012. WDI today just stands on the shoulders and reputations of the greats that came before them - nothing is showing this more than Epcot 1982 vs Epcot 2020.
Huge line for AP magnet!
You mean Poultry Palace.Chicken hut?
....Nevermind. I got it.
Huge line for AP magnet!
@realBobChapek Will you turn SSE into The Great Disney Ride jammed packed with IP’s??
They could gut it out and turn it into The Great Movie Ride. I bet that that idea has been pitched.Tear down SSE as well then.
Rosewalk is the pathway between FW and WS that runs next to Imagination. What’s going on by the Rosewalk over by MouseGears?
