Wall-E is really an environmental tale, so it actually perfectly fits The Land...in a way...

There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day
There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow's just a dream away...

Wall-E is a good fit for Tomorrowland. It certainly fits a whole lot better than Monsters Inc. does. Maybe Wall-E could replace Monsters or Stitch?
Instead of shooting targets on Buzz Lightyear you could help Wall-E collect trash with your Beam-Collector gun...and then celebrate a cleaner tomorrow... This could also teach kids to pick up trash everywhere and they could scale back janitorial in the parks...lol

I would love to see Wall-E in The Land...And if working within the earlier half of the movie feels too depressing/not inspirational enough, a "continuation" building off the end of the movie (when the colony returns to Earth and the tree is planted) has the potential to strike a very hopeful note and be educational. Definitely would work well as a replacement for Circle of Life (or as a "guide" through Living w/ the Land). Although TBH, I would imagine Lion King characters are still more recognizable than Wall-E characters for children today.

Wall-E in The Land, BH6 and Inside Out in Future World and maybe Wreck-it-Ralph in Tomorrowland (I guess that's still on the table, pending the sequel's success?) feels like the way to go for me.

I would have no problem either with the Big Hero 6 Science Fair Pavilion and Imagination Inside Out. Just playing with words there. :)

however I do have some concerns with the inside out ip, but I just like saying Imagination Inside Out lol.

I would love if this could actually happen, however I wonder how probable is this, specially BH6 since I really like the movie and believe that some great rides could be make out of it!

@marni1971, if you are able to tell us, is Wall-E in the IP list they are considering for the new movie replacing The Circle of Life or was I just being delusional? Thank your for always answering so kindly :)

Wall-E would be an awesome addition to Epcot! Surprised WDW doesn't have a Wall-E attraction considering its strong conservation message.

Perhaps they will just update Circle of Life to the live action Lion King.

I was thinking they'd probably just use the Lion Guard characters but maybe they'll surprise us and have it be something original (lol, I know, stop laughing everyone)

I'm not sure where WALL-E stood at the box office, but I'm pretty sure it isn't as popular w/ kids as other Pixar movies like The Incredibles, Toy Story, Inside Out, etc. Not because I think kids aren't smart enough to grasp the more serious themes/concepts in the movie, but b/c so much of the first half is silent (by choice, and to great effect, but children tend to have shorter attention spans). Then again, I don't think Ratatouille is one of Pixar's most successful/well-known movies in America (although it's one of my all-time favorites) and they're putting it in Epcot! In that case though, maybe the appropriateness of the ride to the France pavilion was just too perfect to pass up.

I keep seeing this suggested but would be really shocked if it happened (?) Lion Guard may be recognizable to younger kids, but that's a very specific demographic compared to Lion King characters, which will be instantly recognizable to pretty much everyone. I don't doubt TDO will go for a new IP here but...Lion Guard?

That makes sense, thanks.
One other thing to consider is that both Wall-E and Ratatouille have developed more of a following over time. Moreso among adults clearly, but they have developed a reputation among "movie people" as being among the best quality Pixar films as evidenced by their placement (along with Inside out and Finding Nemo) on the recent BBC poll of 177 critics of the best films of the 21st century so far.

http://www.bbc.com/culture/story/20160819-the-21st-centurys-100-greatest-films

Wall-E came in all the way up at 29. Ratatouille just made the list at 93. (Inside Out was 41 and Finding Nemo was 96).

Not saying this list means too much in terms of popularity. But Disney has few "prestige films" it can promote in the parks. (Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast may be the best alternative options on that front). Wall-E ranking that high may give them a desire to give it some sort of presence. Maybe...
