Open a new land in 3 years? Disney?I'd love to see them get really serious about it and open Villains Land in MK before the end of 2026.
I won't waste a precious moment of my time on earth believing they will, but boy would it be nice.

Precisely why I said I won't waste my time believing they could. But I wish they would. They used to be able to.Open a new land in 3 years? Disney?
Villains Land would be too much of a slam dunk among fans and newbies alike for me to truly believe they’ll build it. It’s unfortunately far more believable that Bob will approve an Encanto ride with a QSR and call it a day.Precisely why I said I won't waste my time believing they could. But I wish they would. They used to be able to.
Of all the forthcoming projects for Walt Disney World - real, proposed, and imagined - Villains Land is by far the one I am most interested in. I personally think the other three parks need new additions far more than Magic Kingdom does, but I'll bite my tongue on that if it gets us a Villains Land. But they'd better knock it out of the park.
Hopefully they'll bump Villains up to first priority on the list, and then maybe they can take some extra time to really consider whether or not Moana and Zootopia actually fit thematically in Animal Kingdom (Spoiler Alert: They don't).
I’ve thought of that too. I think they have some infrastructure issues to think about. The TTC/Monorail/ferry situation seems like an unwieldy bottleneck at times. One issue with adding what would end up being more capacity to MK (with a new blue sky land) that must be considered is this:
How do you move these crowds at the end of a day back out of the park. This “blue sky land” probably can’t happen unless you add a back entrance to MK- and that would probably mean parking issues/solutions. If it is an easier option for me to get into MK, then me and 10k of my closest friend will want to enter and exit from the new entrance, instead of taking the ferry. and that will pose some hurdles on crowd control for WDI to consider. Just some food for thought…
Stay open until 12 am during the initial surge and people will slowly trickle out or control the entire land’s capacity with a VQ like we saw for SWGE and WWoHP.One issue with adding what would end up being more capacity to MK (with a new blue sky land) that must be considered is this:

Add a light parade. They used to employ people who design such things. What about fireworks? The crowding after the fireworks on busy days (especially at times when the number of days a week they are on is restricted such as during MNSSHP), is already ridiculous.
If they increased capacity much more it could get dangerous.
They could add a second fireworks, but during the summer when the first performance is already quite late, a second later performance is going to be too late for most people with children.
Don’t you know that nowadays, children and adults-who-act-like-children are entitled to the same experience as everyone else?Wait are you talking about the same people with children that I see up and about after midnight...looking for a restaurant or snacks at Walgreens? I don't think the lateness is a problem, only that the Disney shops and food venues don't stay open late enough.
Remember Magic til Midnight back in the 70s? No one cared that people with children would be out late....especially the people with children. If people are too tired for the second fireworks show they can leave anytime they want.
I feel 180 degrees opposite on that.please dont clone Cars land in USA. Its an amazing land and CA is super lucky to have it but Give DHS something excusive imo
I hear ya its a great great land imo, but I really like all the parks to have exclusive stuff so it gives people a reason to visit them.I feel 180 degrees opposite on that.
I really wish we had Cars Land on the east coast!
I say bring it.
“To stay open until 12 without charging guests more $ is OUT OF THE QUESTION” - any current or future CEOStay open until 12 am during the initial surge and people will slowly trickle out or control the entire land’s capacity with a VQ like we saw for SWGE and WWoHP.
A second entry is not being explored.
Ya- this is the situation I was alluding too in an earlier comment - it seems a bit dangerous with the current number of peeps- what will it look like if you add a new land - then the throngs try to exit the park every night…What about fireworks? I disagree- a new expansion would allow for more guests to enter and spend. I would add, there is no chance this even will happen, unless wdi can promise TWDC more peeps enter the park, who then spend more money. If they can’t provide proof then the blue sky’s are all turning very grey. IMO of course.same amount of people are gonna stay for fireworks as they do now regardless of a potential new land.
the idea that somehow we're in danger of extra people because of an expansion is laughable
They would be wise to include an area in the expansion with a desirable fireworks view like DL enjoys.I disagree- a new expansion would allow for more guests to enter and spend.
