Hi, everyone!
I need one store name to buy the following items at the best price: beach towel (1st price) watertight small case, flipflops, bottle spray/fan.
Target? Publix?
Thanks
(I'm from France so I don't really know your stores)

Im a big fan of Target (or should I say my wife is). You could check Walmart or the Dollar Store. I just got two ponchos for a dollar and the dollar store. Good luck and have fun!!

All those items are also available at your resort. (albeit a bit more expensive).

Unless your going to the beach, a beach towel isn't needed on property.

The items you mention makes me think your planning on visiting a waterpark. And as I've said above, all are available in the waterparks.

But yes, Target, Wal-Mart, and K-Mart all have these as well. In the grand scheme of things, it may be more of a hassle to get to these stores than to just pay a bit more on site.

Target is a good quality store. Good range of products, good prices, and it's a nice shopping experience.

I agree with this 100% (and I'm not just kissing up!) Target has good prices, sometimes a little higher than other places mentioned in this thread but not by much. I've also found the quality and variety of products to be better at Target. I worked there in college, so maybe I'm a bit biased! But they do have some really neat stuff.

Do not go to Wal-Mart after the sun goes down.

That is the only time I will go to Wal-Mart. Its way too crowded during the day. The lines are too long. I prefer Target over wal-mart though. It seems less packed, product quality is better, the lines are shorter.
Wal-mart is a bit cheaper than target though. I think one of these two would be great to buy those things.

^Walmart is safe after dark, but that is when some of the more interesting individuals choose to go. I wouldn't say it is a bad time, b/c I tend to go at night, but like I said sometimes the people are very...eclectic.

Put mildly!!! LOL. Walmart can be a lot of fun at night, there is never a dull moment. Between the shoppers and the employees it should be great entertainment!! :ROFLOL:

Regarding Wal-Mart at night.

If you have seen Star Wars, then just refer to the scene when Luke and Obi Wan go into the Bar to find a pilot. The people you see will remind you of the "people" in that bar.

I shop at Wal Mart all of the time...at night...and I don't think Wal Mart's clientele are any more "eclectic" than those at Target. There's gonna be strange, out of the ordinary folks anywhere you shop.

OP, just so you know, here in the states Wal Mart is looked down upon by a certain class of people as "white trash" and those individuals feel that Target is more "upscale".

I personally love Wal Mart and I find their prices to be much cheaper than Target and the selection is much better as well, especially if you shop at one of the newer Super Wal Marts. Target does tend to have a better travel section and thier DVD selection is far superior to Wal Mart's as well.

IMHO Target's stores are horribly laid out, they even provide a map at the entrance to help you navigate the store. Wal Mart's stores are much easier to navigate.

Overall, I highly recommend Wal Mart. Don't listen to the folks who are making it sound like some post apocalyptic wasteland straight out of Beyond Thunderdome or something.

Take it from someone that has worked at Walmart (which is how they spell there name now), the group of people does get more eclectic late at night. No offense to anyone who goes to Wally World at night (like me), but you do have some...different people come in at night.

Not that I wouldn't recommend going to Walmart. I, like fizzle, prefer it for certain things such as grocery and layout. Electronics is one thing I will never buy from Walmart b/c I know how they manage to get them cheaper. Overall though, Walmart is a great store that I would recommend.
