I SOOOOO WANT TO SEE A GATOR! haha

The whole way to the resort on the ME bus, I was glued to the windows looking for one. haha

Do you have time to go to Gatorland when you are in Florida on your upcoming trip?

It's worth it. I think you said your son is around 2...he might get a kick out of seeing all the little baby gators and things. It's a really fun place to go to. Around every 5 years or so, my family and I will go there. We'll probably go next summer in fact because my niece and nephew have not been there yet and I want to take them since they love Louis from Princess and the Frog (their favorite movie).

Does anyone know if the "hidden" paths in AK are still there?
I think they are closed because the Tree of Life had branches fall down a few months ago. Not sure if they reopened them.
I believe the poster is referring to a path in Asia. As of June 2010, it seems Disney has put plants to block the entrance and exit of that path. It was super secret, at least compared to other public areas of Disney theme parks, and the current management might not have even known about it.

Yes, that was it. Sorry for not being more specific, I was running off of 2 hours of sleep for the whole weekend. Thanks for the link!

Best shortcut for us has always been when we stay at the beach club and use the back entrance/exit to Epcot. After illuminations it's really nice walking out that way while mostly everyone else goes to the front entrance!

Wow! I never knew that there was such a hidden path like that in the AK. Its probably all blocked off with plants by now :( Cool find nonetheless.

No
There's a path that hugs the ROA from the Tom Sawyer raft loading area over to Liberty Belle. Useful when parades are going on.

So what is your favorite shortcut to use while walking through the parks in disney world? Besides the obvious cutting through the shops on main street in order to exit the park after the fireworks, my next favorite would be the walkway that goes past the tomorrow land terrance and into tomorrow land. It just seems that hardly anyone uses that walkway, maybe because it looks like it could be a dead end or something since its right next to the lake. I digress, its much faster to use that shortcut to enter tomorrow land vs. the main bridge that many others use. I use this shortcut to start my day at the MK nearly every time I enter the park. So like I said at the beginning of my post, what is your favorite shortcuts to use when inside the parks?

p.s. this is my first thread and if this topic has already been discussed I apologize in advance. :)
we use that same walkway adn thats how we start out day at MK too!

HAHA, Go to any lake in Florida that is not man made and you'll see a gator. A good shortcut only used when the park is packed is going through the parking lot behind main street if its open xD

They like the man made ones, too, like retention ponds and water holes on golf courses. And sometimes, even swimming pools.
