What are the best rides or the 1st ride I should go to at the 4 theme parks when the rope drops? I plan on being at each park before opening (minus EMorningH). It seems HS - I would go to Toy Story.. but I need advice for all.

Every time I go to MK, I make sure we are up early that way we can get some of the big thrills out of the way. We leisurely walk down main street that way we don't cause a fuss and we can take some pictures. Then we book it to Big Thunder Mt. Rail Road, there is little to no wait so we usually can go twice. Then we head over to Splash Mt. were the line is like 15 to 20 min. (typically we are on in 10). After this we go to Adventure Land for POTC, the Jungle Cruise, Tiki Room, and Aladdin's carpets. We then head to Liberty Square, catch a parade then it's the HM and onward to Fantasyland. This all in less than 4hr.
BTW stop for food and snacks at some point, and don't rush it all can be done in time. Just start with your favs and must do list, and if things get missed or not done relax enjoy what you were able to to with your family and friends.:)

Typically we always go left and head straight for Adventureland and POTC. But before we do that, we keep going and stop at Splash Mountain for a fast pass. Its always worked pretty well for us.

Definitely agree about Epcot, its pretty much a mandatory to go to Soarin for a fast pass first thing. It gets full fast.
At DHS we always head for ToT,get a fast pass for later and then get in line. :D

Plus it is so much fun to be headed toward Soarin at rope drop!

We were there at rope drop this week and my DD and DS got big hugs from Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy before the rope was dropped! Lots of fun and great photo ops.

Just an FYI (because I didn't know this!) - they let you into the parks about 15 minutes early. The actual rope that drops is on the path to the "Land", right beside the Mickey/character meet and greet place (thus the fact that you get to see the characters!)

Based on this past week:

The only rides that ran out of fast passes were Toy Story Mania and Soarin'...both of which were totally out of fast passes by about noon...warning -- Toy Story Mania fastpasses gotten at about 10 am will return you to the ride about 5:00 pm!!! I have never spent 8 hours in HS in my life -- so either you will have a really long day there, or you will need to parkhop back later in the day...

Epcot - head directly to Soarin' -- ride it, then get another fast pass for it...

Hollywood Studios -- head directly to Toy Story Mania -- be as near the front of the line as you can -- the first two hundred people in or so have only a 20 minute wait -- get another fastpass for later (you will find it will return you about noon and another fastpass will be available at 11:30)....ToT never had more than an hour return time on fastpasses, nor did RRC...Be warned -- more people now head to Toy Story Mania than to ToT and RRC combined, so you will be heading back there with a huge crowd...lots of them will get fastpasses then head to ToT and RRC, but they will be swarming back there with you....

Animal Kingdom -- go to the Safari first and ride it -- then head over to EE and get a fastpass -- go ride Dinosaur or see a show then return for your fastpass time...

Magic Kingdom is totally up to whether you want to get wet first thing in the morning, or go ride SM -- last week, Splash Mountain never had more than a 20 minute wait all day long -- SM was easy to get fast passes for.

Animal Kingdom - Expedition Everest for sure

Epcot - Soarin is number one for me. I usually grab one for that, that head to Test Track because that one gets bad too. I don't ride Mission:Space so I'm not sure how that ride gets w/waits.

Hollywood Studios - Toy Story is the obvious one there. I would grab a fast pass, then get in line and go on it. Come back later & use your pass. It's worth riding twice.

Magic Kingdom - it depends on your preference. If you like the Fantasyland rides, Peter Pan gets a huge wait quick. If you like thrill rides, Space Mountain is the way to go here. Then head to BTMR & ride that before a big line forms.
