Each trip we like to try a new restaurant. Last trip was Kona Cafe and I had a great steak.

Teriyaki-style New York Strip - sirloin strip grilled with pineapple teriyaki glaze served with sticky rice and stir-fried broccolini $27.99

This! It is one of the best steaks I have had. :slurp:

You don't have an opinion on some good steaks Dave? From places I DIDN'T mention?

Not with the restrictions you have put on (one TS credit and places you did not mention)

I have had the one at the Turf Club that Slappy mentioned.

I have eaten at Turf Club a few times. It really is not that memorable. Good, but not memorable. Like Slappy said, it's not a destination, but if you happen to be in the area it is good. I know I had a steak there once, and since I don't reacall it being horrible, it was most likely good.

The least talked about restaurant in WDW is Maya Grill at Coronado Springs. The atmosphere is Spanish/Margarita feel and the food is AWESOME. They have a wonderful filet/catch of day.
They use to have a trio with filet/ribs/fish but must have realized it was too good to be true.
For anyone on the dinning plan I would strongly recommend trying Maya.

I never thought I would be saying this, but the steak I had at the San Angel Inn was incredible! They had totally changed up the menu since then last time we were there, so it threw me way off. Ended up ordering the Sirloin con chili relleno, and was very pleasantly surprised! Ordered along with a pitcher of Red Sangria and it topped off our valentines dinner perfectly... Not my top choice, but it is in the top 5 I have had on property.

Was this recently ? As its not on the lunch or dinner menu. I had it a year or so ago and it was great. I don't like Mexican my wife loves it. I was hoping they had it for our trip in 10 days.

Just over 2 weeks ago.. See my above post for the most recent dinner menu.

Kona's steak is very good but I would put the skirt steak at Cat Cora's ahead of it. Largely due to the flavor - the Mediterranean spices really made it a better meal. Had both in December. Overall, I would say Yachtsmen has a wider range of choices but that's 2 credits.
