NEW Best Rate Passholder information

Hey there all, I was just on the Passholder site and noticed that you can now book hotel stays within the Best Rate Program at 60 days out as opposed to 120 days which is what it was previously!!!! All other limitation still apply from what I have seen!!!! Belle

Bad Timing

That is great news for future trips.
My complaint is when the program started on June 17th my trip was scheduled for 119 days away. It was a couple of more days before I read about the program so somewhere around 117 days...3 days too late to book. Now I am at 52 days and I still can't get the good rates. I have known this trip was going to happen for 6 months but the rates keep missing me.
Since the current rates end on 10/4/05, why didn't they start the program early enough that people could book from 10/5/05 onward.
I hope they do release regular AP.

Great catch Belle. This may put our early December trip back in play. You made my day!!!!
For my great buddies at WDWMagic, ANYTHING!!!!!!! Hope lots of people can take advantage of this. I would advise to book early though as I am not sure how many discounted rooms are left after the initial onslaught!!!! Belle

Oh, Well. We finally gave up on waiting for regular AP discounts and booked our rooms for our October trip. We have been spoiled the past several years with cheap rooms. It sure takes away some spending money when you pay rack rates. Anyway, can't wait for our trip and MNSSHP. (I'm still crossing my fingers that some discount may magically appear!!! )

For those of you who are affected the Florida Resident rate has come out for 10/4/05-12/25/05. It isnt a great discount as far as I can tell. About $10.00 off the Values and $40 or so off the Moderates. Belle

Just a reminder there Hardcard. The Best Rate price will ALWAYS be less than any call in rate. There are some Florida resident rates out and they were about $10 bucks higher on the Value and Moderate level resorts!!! The room rate at the values were $64 without tax and the Moderates were $99 without tax. When I looked up the Best Rate Prices a while ago it was $55 for the Values and $105 (including tax) for the Moderates for Dec 10-15th!! Unless your plans are subject to change I wouldnt wait. Id just book it and enjoy the savings!!! Belle
