What about Crystal Palace? It would be kind of loud in there but we really like it. There is also Liberty Tree Tavern. If it were me though, I would hop over to the poly and have lunch at Kona Cafe.

Just a side note, keep checking back if you really want CRT because people cancel. My sister called and was able to get it the morning that she wanted to dine there so even check that day.

I agree with wdwmomof3. Crystal Palace is a nice choice in MK, but if it were me...I would take the monorail to dine at either California Grill (very romantic spot) or Kona Cafe/ Ohana.

When you say nice lunch, are you looking for decent food? Or rather a nice atmosphere after the proposal? For decent food I would say Columbia Harbor house. For atmosphere, leave the park and go to one of the resorts. Either The Wave or Kona.

Firstly, Congratulations on your upcoming engagement!!! Keep in mind, your soon-to-be fiance may be too excited to eat lunch!! Both suggestions for Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern are terrific, but alot of food. If you're like me, I would remember the first meal I had after getting engaged!! (and visit it every vacation!) Columbia Harbor House is really good and so are the waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow. Plaza Restaurant has some really nice options as well. Again, keep in mind, wherever you choose, it will be on your *must do* list for years to come! Many years of happiness to you!!!

i love the Plaza. Its not much different than a QS menu, but you get to sit and relax. I love the brownie sundae!!!! Anyway, Liberty Tree has a pretty simple lunch menu as well (burgers, sandwiches, etc). Both of these have a great atmosphere and are low key places for a good lunch in MK. Not real expensive either considering they are sit downs. Whayever you choose, have a great day in MK and congrats!!

I would catch the monorail and head over to Kona Cafe. Trust me, it will be a relief to sit down in a relatively crowd-free restaurant after spending the morning in MK.

I agree with all the people saying, 'Kona'. It's away from all the hustle and bustle of the in-park restaurants. It's relaxing and it has a great food selection!

What month are you proposing? If it's December or after, how about Be Our Guest? It's counter-service for lunch, but it could be a treat because it's new.

Congrats on the upcoming engagement! We enjoy Crystal Palace for lunch when doing a sit down since it is a buffet and you can eat at your own pace. You can always have Winnie the Pooh bring her the ring in a little honey pot!;)
