Best place for a Dole Whip?

Hi guys,
Ya'll have me itching for a Dole Whip which I had never heard of before joining this forum. Is there a best place to get one? My wife wants to try one too, which now makes this a must do for our trip in November.

As far as I know there are only two places that you can get them. You can get them at the Poly at their CS restaurant. The other place is a stand called "Aloha Isle" in Adventureland. If you are going into Adventureland from the hub it will be on your right hand side. It is about twenty feet or so from the big overhead Adventureland sign.

Aloha Isle will be your best bet as you can get a Dole float there. A dole float is pineapple soft serve floating in pineapple juice.

At the Poly, all you get is the soft serve pineapple ice cream, not the Dole Whip Float, which has pineapple juice on the bottom of the cup and a layer of ice cream (either vanilla, vanilla and pineapple swirl, or pineapple) on top!

By the way... the absolute BEST place to get a Dole Float is at Disneyland in California, because they let you take it into the Enchanted Tiki Room so you can chow down whilst you enjoy the show.

You are forgeting that no one apparently ENJOYS the Tiki Room in WDW except me..... so maybe that is why!!! :lol:

Now that depends are you talking about The Enchanted Tiki Room, or that atrocity they have there now. Because if you're talking about the original then me & my family loved that.

Actually, Captain Cook's at Polynesian has pineapple, vanilla, and pineapple vanilla swirl flavors available.

I prefer to get an ordinary dole whip at Captain Cook's, because it is self serve and the cups are bigger than at Aloha Isle. However, I would obviously go to Aloha Isle for a float.

My husband and I shared a Dole Whip on our last visit to the parks since we'd heard so much about them. But (sorry folks) :lookaroun I think I like the vanilla milkshake from Fountainview Cafe (next to Club Cool) in Epcot better. It was the best shake I'd ever had.

All you have to do is go to where the entrance to the Swiss Family Robinson tree is and turn around. VIOLA - Dole Whip Stand. :slurp: It's the best. Whenever the DW and I go it's the first thing we do when entering the MK. Of course we stare at Cindy's castle while walking down mainstreet. As soon as that's done it off to the POTC.
