Where in WDW is the best Quick Service?

The Wolfgang Express Cafe in DTD (not the one on Westside) was outstanding, hands down the best value and food for us. The choices were well outside of your standard.. Burger, Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Finger world. Salads, Sandwiches, Flat Breads, woodfire pizzas. Awesome selections and sides, accomodated the young ones, service was outstanding, and they have great little out of the way tables outdoors if the weather is nice enough.

Oddly enough, i've also eaten at the Wolfgang on the Westside, and while we enjoyed the meal, still thought the Express gave us best value in terms of Quick Service.

I completely agree! When we go to WDW, the first stop is always DTD to get the entire princess wardrobe for the BBB and I'm always so excited to eat at the Wolfgang Puck Express. It is such good food! It's almost a disappointment eating at Quick Services after that because you know if you could jsut hop over there, you'd get a lot more bang for your buck (i.e., meal credit).

Having said that, I'm excited to try the Quick Service restaurant at the Wilderness Lodge this year when we go. My brother stayed there last year and said it was great. Maybe it was just the convenience factor, but nonetheless, I'm excited to give it a try.

Roaring Fork at WL is a good choice. Also agree with Sunshine Seasons, and WP Express is a great value on the DDP. Another favorite is Flame Tree BBQ.

Earl of Sandwich is my favorite... Pizzafari and Flame Tree rank up there as does Cosmic Ray's... Took Electric Umbrella off my must eat there list after my 2009 trip... Why?? because of Sunshine Seasons...

Today's topic is relaxing spots.

Where in WDW/DL is the best place to chill out and relax?

I love either the TTA or the small tables to the left of the Rose and Crown with a pint!

Unfortunately I have not sat and chilled out much at WDW... but in the Wilderness Lodge there looks to be a lot! of places inside and out to do that. Just walking around Caribbean Beach is very relaxing:) In Epcot in the back of Rose and Crown it was pretty quiet... but walking around the countries alone without my 5 year old was so relaxing! Under the train station in the MK seems to be free and clear of too much chaos.... So hard to relax at the MK... I only have so much time to do the things I love!

My favorite relaxing spot is the little park in MK before you head down Main Street. That place can be very emotional for me as well. It's the spot you hit and feel the excitement that you are HOME AGAIN! But it's also the spot where you have to say goodbye again at the end of the trip. :(

I love to sit there with a dessert and people watch at the end of a tiring day. Very peaceful.

Today I will have to go with the World Showcase... with honorable mention to an outside table at Casey's Corner.

Specifically, there are benches outside of the Germany pavilion right behind the little beer stand.. they overlook the lagoon. Honestly, to get a tall cold one (i'm 100% German), a soft pretzel, and pull up a bench just overlooking the lagoon, with SSE in the background.... priceless. Ahh, i can imagine it now.

Great topic

Our "chill" time typically is nap time. Hands down, my favorite place to chill is on the Carousel of Progress. It is my favorite "ride" and whenever the kiddo needs a nap, we just jump on and stay on. The cast members always look at us funny, but when they see the kid sleeping, they just nod and move right along to the next show. While I ride and hold the kid, DH leaves to ride space mountain or something more adult-like. Then he'll try to jump on and switch if he gets back before she's awake.

The best part is if it starts raining (which it usually does during nap time), we're just fine! And, it stays dark and air conditioned. It really is the perfect spot for a nap! I cannot get enough of John and Rover!!

That's at the MK. At Epcot, we usually head to the Beer Garden in Germany, because again, it's covered and dark (bonus: there's alcohol). Otherwise, we love the pastry shop in France. It's outdoors though (i.e., rain!!). We have been known to watch the French movie over and over like the Carousel of Progress, but that's definitely not my favorite. Again, indoors, air conditioned and dark=convenient for a nap.

We have napped at the Pizzafari in AK. In that back room, it's pretty nice and you can get some breadsticks while you sit there.

I honestly can't say we've ever had nap time at HS??? Usually, we're done with that park before nap time hits! I guess that says something about HS!!

Great thread!!
