Best non-DME transportation from MCO to Pop?

For various reasons, we need to figure out how to get my sister from the airport to the Pop. I'm not having much luck finding cab fares. I did find one limo service that would do it for $68, but that seems really high. Any suggestions?

If your sister is not eligible for Disney's Magical Express, it looks like Mears still has shuttle buses. $21 one way, $34 round trip for adults, their # is Charter (407) 839-1570

Sorry. I looked at it wrong. It is a flat $60 to WDW. :(

We never use cabs because we always rent a car while there. But for this next trip I will need transportation to and from MCO to Port Canaveral. We'll rent a car and then drop it off the day of the cruise so we'll need transportation that day and the day the cruise gets back. Looks like $210 total for us. :(

DME is only available for packages right? We are buying the hotel and tickets separately since I am their for business and my company is picking up the hotel. ergo, no package deal.

If you are staying room-only at Disney resorts you are still eligible for DME.

Package not required.

Call with your reservation confirmation number and they can add DME info to your booking.

If your trip is getting close, you can call DME direct at 1 866 599-0951

Magical Express Service runs 24 hours. Whenever your flight comes in, there will be a bus to take you to your Disney resort. Late night arrivals can result in longer waits for bus departure, and more stops. You also have to collect your own bags after 10pm, and might want to regardless for any evening flight. If not, they will be delivering your bags 3-4 hours after your flight lands, which could mean while you are in bed.

We've had a thread ongoing the last 2 days about this. You might want to read the posts here.

If you are worried about your sister putting you over room limits, don't be. You can have 4 people, plus one child under the age of 3, in your room. Unless she doesn't want to use DME for some reason. But it would be free, and free is usually good!:)

In the past we have used QuickSilver. We have had no truobles and the drives have always been very nice. You can find a link to them on the home page of this site. There you will find a page with rates so you can campare to what you have already found. But you are looking at $50 at least for a cab. Oh and with QuickSilver if your sister uses them round trip they will stop at the store should you need her to pick up snacks and stuff for the room (for free with round trip)!!!
