Best lunch or dinner at the MK?

2 adults on a wonderful trip away should eat where for lunch or dinner at the Magic Kingdom? The sky is the limit, but I do not want to leave the Magic Kingdom. We are eating at EPCOT an awful lot on our trip and this meal I want to have in my favorite place. What do you recommend? Thanks!

My wife loves Columbia Harbor House (Thinks the tuna sandwich is the best on property).
For full service we like Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner ( Ambience is amazing if you can get a window table, plus we got engaged here). We were totally disappointed last meal at Liberty Tree Tavern - food and service was lacking. Last visit we tried Tony's and we were pleasantly surprised. Wife has spaghetti and I had a steak ( not too keen on Italian food) - neither dish disappointed us.

I know you guys don't want to leave MK, but considering you can just walk to the Contemporary...would you consider dinner at the Wave or Cali Grill? I see 'Ohana is out of the question, but you'd have much better options if all three monorail resorts were a consideration or if you added WL since you've also got boat service between there and MK.

If leaving MK really isn't an option...LTT or The Plaza would probably the TS I'd look at. Columbia Harbor is the first I'd consider for CS, but those waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow having me thinking about buying my own waffle iron to recreate them at home. YUM!

well the only things I ever ate that were decent or good at MK were:
Aloha Isle (uplifting and refreshing snack featuring dole pineapple)
Turkey leg ( quick service cart)
Caseys Corner ( designer hot dogs that I did not get ill on and the fries were good too)
Crystal Palace ( decent buffet with characters)
Main St Bakery ( dessert or breakfast)
Tomorrow Land Terrace Dessert Party for the fireworks ( AWESOME):D

the other places I have tried:
Pinnochio Village Haus (other than view into Small World below food was fair)
Tortuga Tavern (another fair)

MMMMMMMM Columbia Harbor House, our favorite, last year we sat upstairs, no one was there and had a fabulous view. If your up for a bit of travel take the boat over to FW and go to Trail's End, not fancy but good food and blissfully quiet.

I would take the monorail out of MK to 'Ohana.
I have a problem recommending anything better than mediocre at MK.

Highly recommend Ohana...

One place we enjoyed was Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland. They had a huge variety and food was pretty good. You could get the rot. chicken and split it with two people - its that much food.

I would stick to getting something simple at The Plaza for lunch or dinner. Everytime we went to the more higher end MK restaurant I didn't feel the food was that great. You really are better off heading to the Contemporary and trying The Wave.

WOW! That totally sounds like us! She loves the spaghetti, being Italian, and I detest it and would eat a steak. She is so against going to Tony's. I was joking about it last night and got the death stare. I was thinking about Cindy's. Hmmmmm perhaps I will have to consider it more.

Will you let me know how you like the Royal Room? We have one booked for about a month later. Sorry I can't help with you food situation, but it sounds like everyone else have you covered.
I surely will! I am so excited to stay there! I just LOVE my princesses and cannot wait to be at PORS! It is sure to be a magical time.

I have to agree with the GFC always a very easy going place, on our last trip we had breakfast there twice and was very happy with not only the food but the service was excellent.

MK is always tricky for me b/c there is not (imo) a fabulous place to dine. I do really like Crystal Palace for Breakfast, Tortuga for lunch (CS) and then dinner - welp...we have tried them all and they are all okay. Most of the time, we head to a resort and dine there.

I, too, love the Crystal Palace. It is always the first and last breakfast when I am at the world. I just really have to see Eeyore and have puffed french toast. I haven't seen many positive reviews for lunch or dinner, so I have been leery about disillusioning a good thing. We will probably just hit a resort and I will have to sacrifice a few more of my Magic Kingdom minutes. /sigh. I hope my princesses will understand. :)
