5th graders will probably like club cool and the jumping fountains by imagination. The fountains would give you a chance to sit down while they burn off some energy.
i think they're called aero. i've seen them in bed, bath, & beyond stores also. a lot cheaper than buying them at epcot.I like the candy bars in the Twinings Tea Shoppe. To me it's interesting how different countries handle something as simple as the "candy bar". There's one candy bar that's made with chocolate that's got hollow spots, like bubbles that have popped. I forget the name, but I think the wrapper might have pictures of the bubbles. It's really good (if you like chocolate, which I do)!
Germany- Pickle Tree,

Norway. School bread. 'Nuff said.
Aero bars...containing the 'tiny bubbles'
Many grocery stores here in the U.S. that have a 'international food' aisle sell these British delights.
Jelly Tots, and Lion Bars are terrific treats, too!
OH..and Hobnobs. If you love chocolate, seek these 'cookies' out!
My local grocery store up here in the Northeast sells all of these off the shelf.
Aero bars come in a couple of different flavors, mint being the more interesting version I have tried to date.

That's it-Aero! And thanks for telling me you can get them in grocery stores in the northeast. Although I live 20 miles from the Mexican Border, where "international" foods are ONLY Mexican foods, I have family in Massachusetts and will look there. Thanks so much for telling me-can't wait to check out Wegman's and Market Basket up there now.
Canada- Ummmmm, Not much
It certainly is. This would have been the entrance to German Rivers. Circa 1983-4 the original wooden entrance doors (that were closed) were replaced by this wooden mural wall.
Nope. And I've been looking for 35 years!Do you have a picture of said doors?
Yes I love eating there I like all that you mention I'm not sure why but I just wasn't crazy as everyone else about the school bread, but I love all the pretzels, tarts, and Horns they have. They make me hungry just thinking of them. Will be there first week in June and it's a must stop.Cloudberry Horns, Almond Pretzels, and the Berry Tart are also all mouthwateringly fantastic.
Mmmm.....
I used to get a plate of all three in the days of yore, and enjoy them while sitting on the lagoon centerline watching 'Illuminations'.
Yum.

Awesome idea!!Between now and July 1 you can get a free button celebrating Canada's 150th birthday. If you have to answer a trivia question to get it, that's another things the kids can do that's somewhat educational.
ZOMG....the
Best EPCOT souvenirs are ones you buy before you come at home.. because they are much much cheaper..
Think my daughter wanted to DCP internship just so she'd have access to the brie and Apple sandwich there LOLThose baguette sandwiches are so good!!
Yea the 'Beverly' is a right of passage! This place my kids just love it in Future World it's called Club Cool and what kid doesn't like Coke. This spot the kids can try as many samples of coke products from around the world. Some taste great but one taste nasty. Your kids will love it, and you will to. It's FREE also that a plus also. Hit this place right before you make your way to the World Showcase.
