Valrhona Chocolate Cake and Apricot at the california grill, the apricot ice cream sats perfectly with the richness of the chocolate. (unfortunetly its now served with raspberry ice cream - though i will admit its just as good.)

I also loved the epcot millenium celebration desserts, white chocolate dessert in a hollow milk chocolate spaceship earth, and the mini desserts at grand floridian cafe. yum

The flavor of the ice cream served with the valrhona chocolate cake changes seasonally. I've seen it served, at different times, with raspberry ice cream and also mocha ice cream. I loved it with the raspberry!

Mine? The Kitchen Sink!!! So much of a good thing. I'm going to have one with my friends in 3 days for my birthday. We're going to try and beat our record of finishing it in 17 minutes:slurp:

Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding is sublime!!! I also really liked the cheesecake at Sci-Fi and the Bavarian cheesecake at the Biergarten.

I mentioned the Banana Butterscotch Buzz from California Grill (which I love so much that I ordered it twice during the same visit...), but I just think there too many desserts which I love!

1. Lefse from Norway (surprise surprise...)
2. Banana Bread Pudding from Mainstreet Bakery, MK
3. Banana Bread Pudding from Ohana's
4. Pistachio Creme Brulee from Jiko
5. Chocolate Lava cake from Narccoosee's
6. Peanut Butter pie, Animator's Palette
7. Apple Charlotte, Captain Cook's, Polynesian

oh man there's so many!

This is one of my favorites too! But on our trip to Disney last week we ate twice in the California Grill, Once for my birthday and my favorite dessert was not on the menu either time. I asked the server what happened to it as it has been on the menu for years and he didn't seem to know of this dessert. Anyone know whats happened to one of their signature desserts???

We do have the very lovely food pictures thread but I guess posting a few dessert specific photos here couldn't hurt...I will even rank them according to greatness. I bring you....my top 10 WDW desserts!

We got the chocolate dessert at TRex. There was enough for 4 people. It came out on a square dish, with a chunk of chocolate/butterfinger cake at each corner, scoop of ice cream in between each cake and in the center, a dry ice concoction to represent "lava". WONDERFUL!!!

Oh, and the "cotton-tinis" were awesome too!!!

(tried posting a pic, but can't figure it out right now!)

The berry cobbler at Artist point... mmmmh
I also love the black forest cake at the Sommerfest quick service in Germany. It's much better than the one they serve at the buffet.

Ice Cream Sandwich from Sleep Hollow, my favorite!
How was the pb cake at Sci Fi? It's on my list for this trip.

This was the first trip that I got the Sleepy Hollow ice cream sandwich and I was amazed it took me a dozen or so trips to get one! Sooo good!
The pb cake was pretty good! It was funny because I had exactly 10 dessert photos, so they all made the list  The only one I didn't care for was the Chocolate Wave. I would order all of the others again.....and again....and again....

Meega, nala kwishta!
Mine is sadly no longer available.

It was from Jiko and it was called Cardamom Chocolate Kgetsana. They are macadamia nut and cardamom ganache filled Beggar's purses with a carmalized orange dipping sauce. Unbelievably good.

Sadly they are no longer on the menu. I even asked about them last year and the waiter remembered them too. Even said how popular they were, but I guess fond memories are best left in the past...
