Hi Everyone, In your opinion, what are the best counter table meals in each of the parks? We have already tried Cosmic Rays (in MK), Toy Story Pizza (in DHS) and Flame Tree BBQ (in AK)...Any other suggestions, would like to try something new and we are on the dining plan....

The food court in The Land is heads & tails above everything IMHO.
Agreed.

I also enjoy Gasparilla Grill & Games at The Grand Floridian and the Kringla Bakerie og Kafe at the Norway Pavilion in Epcot (though the latter's recent menu change is disappointing... most people go there for desserts but there are some decent meal options too... definitely check out the menu first).

Not to sound like a broken record but....Casey's Corner, corn dog nuggets in MK are my favorites (who knew?). I also like the mexican counter service meals in Epcot and any of the countries, like France, that offer a sandwhich option and a bakery too. Pecos Bills is good , burgers with all the fixins, including cheese sauce for my fries. :slurp:

I try get a kids meal in the parks, better portions and include a fruit serving if that is important to you. Sometimes I want a fuller meal, other times I have snacked too much and need only a kids meal.

My favorites:

Pecos Bills at MK for a burger
Casey's Corner at MK for a hot dog
Sunshine Seasons at The Land at EPCOT for deliciousness
Cantina De San Angel at Mexico at EPCOT
Flame Tree at DAK for deliciousness

We really liked the fish/fries at Columbia Harbour House in MK, as well as Pizzafari at the AK. Probably the two places we like the best. The one we didn't like at all was Electric Umbrella at Epcot - most bland food I've ever had.

Our favorites are:

MK - El Perito Taco (Frontierland - only open seasonally) nice taco salads and Columbia Harbour House

AK - Pizzafari - The Italian sandwhich is tasty and huge

Epcot - we tried Seasons - liked most but not the chinese food. But like the chinese cs and biergarten cs

DHS - starring rolls and the open market across from Beauty and the Beast.

I am hoping to do a CS review (including pictures) of many different CSs on our next trip. :) We are family that leans toward more CS than TS.

It's not in the parks, but possibly one of the best uses for a Counter Service credit on the DDP is at the Wolfgang Puck Express locations in Downtown Disney (Marketplace and West Side). Great food.

Columbia Harbor House is also one of my favorites.

And for some reason I wasn't too impressed with Flame Tree BBQ. It may have just been an off day for them, I'll have to try it again sometime.

I really like Columbia Harbor House and El Pirata y el Perico at MK.
For Epcot, Cantina de San Angel, and Yorkshire County Fish Shop
For AK...I like Kusafiri Bakery for breakfast. I don't think I've ever stayed a whole day at AK to need to have lunch or dinner.
I think I may be the only person in the whole Disney-going world who likes the ABC Commissary in Hollywood Studios. The lack of a crowd and air conditioning has a lot to do with that.

To tell the truth our family enjoys it too. We like the cuban sandwichs they tend to be very filling and the kids actually liked their hamburgers. We were disappointed that they no longer had the noodle dishes though. That used to be our favorite kids meal.

We made a point to try some new ones this last trip and we really liked Toy Story Pizza at DHS. Also, we went to El Pirate at MK and that was a really good change from the normal burgers and fries. We also did Yak and Yeti at AK - and the honey chicken was SOOO GOOOD! :slurp: At Epcot, we don't each lunch b/c we are not usually there during those hours. But when we have been, we avoid the Electric Umbrella (usually busy and also, food is never very good) and Sunshine Food Court (CRAZY!). The DH loves Sommerfest in Germany though!! At MK - we also avoid Cosmic Ray's at MK but we love Casey's Corner. :slurp:
