The Crystal Palace wins for me. The walk down Mainstreet, the characters, the architecture, and the puffed French toast are perfect.

I had Kona for the first time this past trip and I was surprised. After hearing the raves I expected more. It was good, but not overwhelming. I had the Tonga Toast and enjoyed it, but it wasn't as good as the similar toast that used to be at Boatwrites. Our server was clueless, nice but clueless, and there wasn't much atmosphere.

I think I might like Kona better if I lived closer and went there for just a regular morning meal, then the laid back vibe would enhance my meal rather than stifle my enthusiasm. Just a theory.

I like Chef Mickey's, all I can think of when I'm there for breakfast is how I miss the dessert bar.

I love 'Ohana's. The food and characters are great.

And finally The Wave is a nice refreshing change of pace.

Kona is fantastic (Tonga Toast is amazing although I don't want to remotely know the calorie content...LOL). I also loved 1900 Park fare @ the GF character breakfast.
There are no calories in WDW food! Pixie dust removes them automagically! :king:

While we love the Jungle Juice at Tusker House, I have always been pleasantly surprised by the food quality at Ohana... and as my 5 year old puts it, "Mickey is so much more friendly at Ohana, maybe because he is trying to teach Stitch a lesson on manners!"

I was going to ask how Cape May is for breakfast but my answer is above. :)

O'Hana is great...love the bread and juice. We generally do not do a big breakfast...usually only one a trip so I haven't experienced many but of the ones I have had they were superb. Crystal Palace was very good, too.

I have never had Kona for breakast, but the dinner was awesome!! Maybe we will have Kona on our next trip fro breakfast.

We are quality over quanity people and don't usually enjoy buffets. We love O'hana and Kona for breakfast. At Kona we get the Big Kahuna and two of us share, we are big eaters and can hardly finish it! We have never had a bad experience at O'hana, we've only eaten breakfast there, when reading what some other posters have posted that might just be great luck. On mornings we do the TSM race we like to eat a quick roll at Starring Rolls after riding TSM, they are always good! (Then we ride the frendship boat to Epcot for a great lunch.)

I find most buffet breakfasts at WDW to be pretty much the same as far as a food standpoint is concerned.

Now for a public service announcement

'Ohana - not O'Hana, Ohana's, Oh! Hana, or any other iteration you may think of

It is also Cape May. As in Cape May, NJ

Sorry for the nit pickyness, just my pet peeve.

Thanks
