Another Splash voter here - its my fav ride at WDW. Its great as you get the wonderful theming with the addition of the major thrills you expect to have on a disney mountain.

Though I will admit, you don't really enjoy it fully till your second ride, as the first time you just end up worrying about the "big" drop. :ROFLOL:

You say that but despite the large number of times we have been on Splash, we still manage to get my Mom on every ride with "This is big one coming up", only to then drop 2 feet .

I voted for Big Thunder! It's always been one of my favorite classic rides. I'm terrified of Splash Mountain's big drop.

My kids are also terrified of the drop so we have not ridden Splash since before they were born.

I voted BTMR also. It is a classic, fun, not too scary ride that my family can ride.

Where to sit?

A couple of people have mentioned that they most enjoy the back row of Big Thunder. I plan to be brave and ride it for the first time this coming October, and I was wondering if someone can tell me whether the back row gives a scarier or less scary ride? I want to sit in the least scary position possible, big chicken that I am! LOL

Also, I plan to brave Splash Mountain as well. Aside from knowing that you get less wet in the back than the front, can someone tell me if any positions feel "The Drop" more than other positions? I terrified of the end of that ride but am dying to experience the rest of it with my family (who are all braver than I am!). Thanks guys.

I voted for Big Thunder, it gives just a simple joy while riding. I almost voted for the Shootin' Arcade because it is always a fun time, but it does cost extra. I also like Splash and the theming, but I don't like getting my shorts wet.

It goes fastest at the back, it is really a very tame coaster in terms of thrills. But if you are not a big coaster person the front is probably the least scary place to sit. So do that and work your way backwards :).

Well as a ride, I like Thunder Mountain, but I voted for Splash Mountain because it is a better attraction. It has much better theming, a fun story line, and a nice sized thrill! It has everything you could want in an attraction! I love attractions that give a story line and are more than just a ride. So Splash Mountain it is!

This is the first in this series of polls that I actually had to think about.

I love Country Bear Jamboree...have since I was a kid. It brings a big smile to my face and I don't care who knows it!

Big Thunder is a big fave of mine, too. It makes me laugh even though it is a very tame coaster. I love helixes especially in the back. Lots of fun and lots of nice scenery.

But, I had to give the vote to Splash Mountain. Its just a great attraction. Great music, moderate thrills, great atmosphere. Everything I love in an attraction. Its a toss up between this and Haunted Mansion for the best ride in the park for me.

Splash Mountain for me. I think Big Thunder Mountain is very great nostalgically for me but Splash is pretty good for a ride.

I voted for the Country Bears too. now if we could just bring some diversity back to the attraction like Tokyo does. showing one versaion year round makes it kinda stale

I picked BTMRR, I am a sucker for the classics. I love SM but I have always loved BTMRR and have fond memories of it when I was a child.
