Trip Report Belgians do WDW! August 2022

Hi all! Live writing you from MCO airport! As the title suggests, I have finally arrived in our beloved WDW area!

Probs will share a TR afterwards but for now, glad to be back!

We’re staying off-site tonight but tomorrow direction CBR and MK!

Today was MK day!

Bought Genie+ -> used it for Jungle Cruise/Space Mountain/Pooh and BTMRR later after the storm has passed! Ate spring rolls (were good) and took a lovely break at Geyser Point!

EPCOT today and we secured a time slot for Guardians but like @Tuvalu, I will take the chicken exit too!

Just went on Guardians… haha I will be laying low for a couple of minutes feeling a bit dizzy and definitely queasy but glad I did it once! Crowds are starting to pick up here at EPCOT but we’ve covered most of the main attractions this morning. No ratatouille for us as we have ridden the Paris version..

DHS today -> honestly a disaster crowds wise. No proper availabilities on G+ and people everywhere..

Now resting in the room nu we have a LL for tower.. not sure if I join because I’m feeling the heat today

I heard you had a torrential downpour and flooding yesterday!

DHS is tough. Amazingly we never rode ToT because of long standbye and no LL availability.

Finally didn’t ride it but went to explore Rivièra. Pretty grounds outside but small lobby and the gift shop was crowded! Spend late afternoon at DS and we snatched a LL for BTMRR (numero 2 of the trip)!

Universal/MK DAY

My brother really enjoyed the rides there while I would be just OK sitting on the train between the two parks and wandering around. Attractions are too intense for me but I joined as a “bag holder while the other ride the rides” afterwards ubered to MK but it was a beehive. Grabbed a snack and back to the hotel. Now deciding on where to go this evening.. would like to see some animals actually…

How was it getting a table at Geyser Point? I don't think reservations are possible. We were thinking of going for lunch, but won't be staying at WL.

Oh no issues here! We did however enjoyed the meal after peak times so around 2PM.

Yesterday was a slow day- suffered a migraine so had to pass on my LL for Rise.. 15 USD for Disney ! Today mixture of parks started in EPCOT, hop to Springs and now waiting on bus for AK.. finally going on dinosaur and Safari!
