This show has now been running for a long time and I must admit that on our last trip we did not bother to go and see it.

So is it time for a new show dare I say it High School Musical which could fit well in that location?

Let the verbal stoning begin!

Ok I will start the stoning:

I love B&B Show, it is getting little old, but for my taste I would not go see a High School Musical Show if they put one there. I think the a B&B type show works for a little older crowd.

I wonder what the cost would be to revive some of the older shows and change them out every year or so to give us that are new to Disney a chance to see them.

OK the stoning is over, you can relax now.

I still enjoy BatB, but I agree that it is aging; however, a HSM show as a replacement would really just downright stink.

Being a huge BatB fan, I don't want to see it go. Now that BatB has closed on Broadway, I think it would be a shame to see it close.

Personally, I don't like HSM at all and I would be very sad if they were to be the replacee.

It shouldn't be replaced but it does need some updating. With the better stage shows Disney has done lately, like Disneyland's (now gone) Snow White, DCA's Aladdin, and AK's Finding Nemo, MGM's Beauty and the Beast pales in comparison. They need to make it a better show. And with BATB off Broadway now, I think it would be a great opportunity to take elements from that show and turn MGM's into a better and probably longer (45 min or so) show.

I see why some would want another show because Beauty and the Beast has been there for so long. But I would flat out HATE a High School Musical show. I'd hate to see it go though I think it's one of the best shows at Disney World, and probably the best at MG-er... I mean DIsney's Hollywood studios. No offense to you Little Mermaid Lovers, but I think THAT one should go. There are a couple neat little black light scenes but they just show the cartoon. I think that show is terrible.

I think the show is very good, but it's probably time for a change. I hope that when it is replaced it's with a show based on a timeless classic that people of all ages can love (and not High School Musical).

I love the Beauty & the Beast show!
As for High School Musical..... the pep rally show is torture enough, I have had enough of that here with DD! Songs, movies.dolls, bedding, posters, school supplies etc.) I sing that stuff in my sleep!!
I know it makes money and it is going to be there but the pep rally is enough IMHO.... :D

You know I totally agree with you on this, we've even kind of talked about it.

BATB can and probably should be able to stay, however, it does need to have a major overhaul. I saw it for the first time on my last trip. I saw it the same day as Finding Nemo and I have to say, Finding Nemo blew it out of the water. BATB is a play that could use some freshening up but I do believe that it is still good to have in the park.

NO. ANYTHING /BUT/ HSM. PLEASE. o___o

I personally still love Beauty and the Beast. I see it whenever I can, if my parents don't have a busy scedule that day (we always seem to miss it because of lunch reservations or some other ungodly known reason..).

I wholeheartedly agree. I think it would be awesome if they did an abridged version of the Broadway show and used costumes and sets from that show.
