Beauty And The Beast Revamp?

I have seen the UK tour of Beauty and the Beast, and I must say, that even in 2003, a tour version outshone the bespoke DHS version. I agree that BatB would do well in the new fantasy land expansion, as it fits the theme. Sunset boulevard has a very vintage theme, but that doesn't mean the show should look ancient and tired also! I think the vintage theme lends itself very well to shows such as Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomstick, or even Pete's Dragon, especially with a 2016 reboot of the film on the Horizon.

I was one of "The Beets" once.
Yeah, whatever. They should have had BatB and Aladdin both at DHS.
Tangled?The most important element of a good musical is good music.
In my opinion, they should bring back the Hunchback show. Now that was elegant, edgy, heartfelt, and wonderful to listen to. EVERY single time I went there were HUGE lines.
I would also vote for Tangled as it was just added to DCL and it would give more from the movie than the restroom extravaganza we in the Magic Kingdom.
Another choice is to do a compilation of the shows they have produced from parades, pre-parades, etc. It works on the cruise line, it could work here.
It's probably because the DHS version is from 1991
I loved the Hunchback of Notre Dame stage show. That is all.

I would love a Tangled musical show. BatB is not something we do anymore. After seeing it several times, we have chosen to opt out.

I love Beauty and the Beast it's just my favorite Disney movie ever but I plan on skipping the DHS show cuz looks identical to the version Disneyland got rid of in 1995. I'd love it if they revamped it and made it more like the Broadway Musical, make it a scaled down version that gets people who normally wouldn't go to Musical Theatre want to go see it

Having just watched [most] of the hour-long Tangled musical for Disney Cruise Line ... it'd be the perfect replacement for B&TB. Why couldn't we have gotten it years ago when we should have? Obviously it would never be an hour long ... though at this point an hour long musical could fill a void if certain shows close down the road.
Any insiders have updates on Beauty and the Beast (and Mermaid?) being replaced? It's really beyond time.
