Someone told me that he saw a Beates tribute band at the UK in the World Showcase. I'm a HUGE Beatles fan and was wondering if this is true. If true, I would love to see them play at EPCOT.

They're called the British Invasion and they're awesome. I think they play everyday except Mon and Tues. You can find out on an Epcot times guide.

I think there called The British Invasion.

I have never really listend much to The Beatles.

We were there last New Years Eve and caught there last performance of the night. My Family enjoyed it, but said they wish they would have played more classic Beatles songs, since they played more Paul Mcartney solo songs. They were still very good though.

It's true. I believe they are called "the British Invasion" or something like that, but they dress like the Beatles and play Beatles songs. I think they used to do other songs too, and maybe still do, but the last time I saw them it was the Beatles. Don't stand too close and I'd imagine the expience is better than Shea Stadium in 1964.

Actually, aside from it not being the Beatles, I think it can be guarenteed that the expience is better than any actual Beatles concert: no screaming, quality audio equipment, and better seats.

Plus, you can have a nice fish & chips dinner while you watch!

Of the times I've seen them, they seem to pick a 60's band for a set and go with it, they've done whole sets devoted to the Beatles as well as bands like Herman's Hermits and do an excellent job with it. So don't be surprised if they're not playing just Beatles songs.

I have seen it many times but you do need to head over there as it does get quite crowded at the show despite the fact there is not allot of room to watch, you just stand around the gardens. And once they start to sing everyone in the area ends up over there watching. It does get a good crowd and they are quite amusing.

Hey there, They are definitely cool!!!! The group is the British Invasion and for a general times guide for this and any other WDW entertainment check out this website run by Steve Soares: http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/
He gets the entertainment guides each week and updates his site accordingly. Just look at the park you are interested in for a complete listing!!! Hope this helps!!! Belle

The British Invasion is one of my must-sees when we visit WDW. It's a great sound in an even better setting. It's also a good time for parents with kids, we enjoy the music while the kids run through the maze of shrubs around the stage. Dont miss it!

their great too, just ask belle, she gets up on the stage with them sometimes if not everytime she's there. hopefully I'll have time to see them in April, when the family and I go.

I'll tell you, there is something quite magical about sitting in the beautiful United Kingdom gardens at dusk, with a half yard of ale, listening to the British Invasion.

For a cover/tribute band, they are very talented indeed. Their sets of songs change throughout the day - from early sixties Beatles/British groups through the early seventies Sergeant Pepper Beatles days (and they change their clothes/costumes accordingly!)

In fact, they are so much fun, I'm counting the days (14!) until I'm down at Epcot to see them!

Off Kilter is probably the most amazing entertainment act in World Showcase, if not in all of the parks, but I was trying to stay on topic!!!! Belle

I completely agree! The English garden setting complete with gazebo is magical. And I love the music. The crowd, spread out casually on benches, steps, and the grass, get into the music, singing along and even dancing. It is magical!

On a side note, Slippin' Falls, next week I am going to see the Beatles' tribute "Rain" here in Philly. It's a three part show that is supposed to be as close to the real thing that you can get. I'm really looking forward to it. Should be fun!

My DH and I are definitely Beatles' fans.:dazzle: We catch this show every time we are in Epcot (sometimes more than once). Get to the UK pavilion early to get a good view. This group does quality Beatles music, but the show does not last very long. People will be coming in all throughout the show, sitting on the curb, standing in front of you, etc. (Get the picture?) A true Beatles fan will really appreciate this group. :sohappy:

(For Christmas, Santa gave my DH and I a DVD with all four ED SULLIVAN SHOW apperarances by the Beatles, 3 right after they came to America for the first time and the other show was two years later)

The British Invasion is awesome... I think we listened to them like 3 times while there on vacation last summer... It is real quality music and the show is well worth it!

As I am the only big Beatles fan in the family, I usually end up seeing the British Invasion by myself. I think they're great, I just wish the sets were longer. It seems to me like they do their sets in "eras".(i.e. early 60's, Sgt. Pepper...etc.)
