granted I agree with you, I've always thought disney already had a lot in the thrill ride department--you aren't going to find Test Track anywhere else, I've never been on a drop tower/space-shot nearly as amazing as the Tower of Terror, etc. But, with the budget for Beastlie's E-ride set as high as it is, you are right that it will be an out of this world adventure...I don't even want to THINK about how much that dragon could cost...those LITTLE Audio-Animatronic animals on Splash Mountain are about a million bucks a piece...

yeah, I heard this dragon is going to be pretty huge...

I bet you the story will be set in a nice serene mythilogical place with pegasus and unicorns and then as the story line progresses, the dragons take over and make a mess of the place :)

which would be grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! That story line would certainly fit the idea of having two LIM launches with two story scenes followed by a LIM launch into the thrill section!

I dont know if you have ever been to Alton Towers, but the themeing is not at all impressive in my opinion. It make look OK in photos, but in reality its poor. Nemesis makes no sense as a coaster, and has next to no story line, and just average themeing. The coaster is fairly nice though, as are all B&Ms though. Besides that, the rest of the park is a complete shambles - hence the reason why I travel all the way to the USA rather than venture inside a UK "amusement" park. :)

I just hope that they don't make the dragon cutesy...I mean...look at alien encounter...that alien is pretty lame. I hope the dragon doesn't resemble the one in shrek :) That would be a BAD thing. This dragon has to be big, bad, and breathing fire.

Which it definately will. If they are going to really go through with a coaster with such a high budget then they will do it right.

Sorry Steve...I haven't been to Alton Towers...but I saw a little show about the park and it made the coaster look kewl...I'm sure Alton Towers just paid the producers a lot of money to make it look good...my bad:) Also...if they are truly going for a thrill ride here...I think it would be illogical to have a "nice" dragon...and given the budget, the dragon certainly won't be cheap looking...
