You will love Beaches and Cream! Pool is a party in the afternoon... lots going on. Walking into Epcot is so fun. Remember to hoof it to Soarin first thing for FP's.... easier to do when you stay at BC 
Boardwalk Bakery and ESPN are really good, too. Cape May has great character meals. The older gentleman who welcomes guests is so lovely - have your picture taken with him! He is a legend at BC (I cannot remember his name) and if he is still there get a photo as a keepsake. Enjoy!

I too love the pool. The best waterside I have been on within the resorts that I have been to (4 including POFQ). If you like seafood, the restaurant has a buffet. And don't forget to order "The Kitchen Sink" at the ice cream place. Oh yea, a pretty good slice of pizza across the lake on the boardwalk, just a walk up window. Enjoy.

You guys have made a wonderful choice. Beach Club is our absolute favorite resort. You cannot beat the location. 5 Min walk to Epcot or the Boardwalk. Boat ride to Disney Studios, Beaches and Cream Ice cream shoppe, Cape may Cafe restaurant, and best Pool complex at Disney by far.Hope you have a

The pool is great! My kids loved the jib slide - plus all the activities/games they had during the day.
Check out Beaches and Cream for ice-cream ( or lunch ). If you are on the dining plan you can use your snack credit for an ice-cream cone.
The rooms are very nice and the beds comfy.
It is awesome to be able to walk 10 minutes from your room into Epcot!
You can also walk ( about a mile ) to DHS or take a nice boat ride.
The resort is beautiful at night - and you have a nice view of the Boardwalk.
Easy walk to the Boardwalk and all its restaurants and activities.
You're going to love it!

not to mention the great bus system... it works out perfectly.
1.) headed to MK / AK you are the last to be picked up, so no wasting time headed to different resorts before the park.
2.) headed home you're the first dropped off, so right to your room... no need to waste time at other resorts!
