Not looking to get flamed here, just wondering if anyone can squash or confirm rumour about Be Our Guest???

Cast members in the area apparently expecting a Late June or Early July opening......

Anyone heard anything???

I would be skeptical of this. From the latest aerial photos of the area you can see that things are coming along nicely, but there is still quite a bit of work to do before the area is ready for guests.

I would take that with a HUGE grain of salt. From what I've heard they still have quite a bit of work to do, especially in detail areas in the whole area around the village and Be Our Guest.

i was 50/50 each way with the ariels, it looks like other than the mine train that most of the area is just about complete, the rides must be pretty much done by now its just pathways by the look of it and some extra themeing but these are only ariels and we can not see in the buildings and god knows what else they have planned for that! i think the trees being put in is a good sign of an early opening!

Yes, a lot of the area is done, but "Late June early July" would mean opening in the next three weeks, and I don't see them completing even the visible work in that time frame. There is still a lot of paving to be done especailly in the village area, Gaston's fountain/statue still needs to be finished, there are some new structures at the start of the bridge to Be Our Guest that are pretty early in thier construction, and the big thing is the castle wall which still has a ways to go. I am optomistic that the area will open sooner then later, but I think late June early July is to optomistic.

I may pop in WDW over Labor Day weekend..I hope that it's open then..but wont count on it

It is standard procedure to recruit CM from other locations to be the opening team for any new offering. When it comes to Be our Guest Disney has yet to offer any info sessions or hold any interviews for anyone interested in working this location. At this point they have only recruited a manager for the location. They are still a few months away from opening.

dont think we will be able to make any reservations till the end of the year even when it opens disney leaves it awhile before you can make reservations just to work out the bugs and popularity lol

Don't expect reservations to be available as soon as the restaurant opens. Your not looking at an opening until November or December and I wouldn't be surprised if they hold off reservations until 2013.

UPDATE!!!

The correct rumour as actually for Be Our Guest to open in Late July not late June as stated earlier!

This is coming from multiple Cast Members!
Be Our Guest & the area around it is far ahead of schedule!
