Be Our Guest Reservation seems impossible. Any tips?

My family and I will be traveling to MK in October. Specifically for Mickey's not so scary on Monday, October 14th. I have been trying to reserve at Be our guest via WDW website and the reservation number since May 2013 but to no avail :( Does anyone have any recommendations as to what would work in order to obtain a spot? Since Mickey's not so scary will be happening we wouldn't gain access to the park until the even begins so jotting our names down early in the day unfortunately isn't an option. Any help, tips or advice is greatly appreciated :)

Unfortunately, you may have a hard time snagging a reservation at this point. Be Our Guest (aka BOG on this site) is probably the most popular restauarnt at MK right now due to its newness and reservations are easily being booked 180 days in advance.

I wouldn't dissuade you from trying to call the reservation line everyday up until your trip and even the day of. You never know, someone might cancel and you could snag a spot.

You could always try walking up as well but the chances there are even slimmer. Don't mean to be a Debby Downer, just trying to be honest with you.

By the way, don't forget that you don't have to wait until 7 to enter the parks for the even. You can go in at 4 prior to the strat of the event, just not any earlier than that.

aaah- I had no idea that you could go in at 4pm. Very useful information and I will definitely take advantage of the early check in. Thank you for your honesty. I will keep trying and hope luck is on my side!

While you wait to get your ADR, it might be a good idea to read some reviews of it (while some like it, others aren't impressed). If you find the people who don't like it sound more like 'you' than the ones that do, you might find that all those people eating there aren't eating somewhere that you'd like better...

Like everyone said keep calling everyday and call each day WHILE ON YOUR TRIP ALSO. Last Dec We were not able to get Ohana and had tried for 6 months and while on our trip I kept calling each day and one day I called while there And was able to get a ressie for the following day! So never give up even while there! Dont just look online either b/c online still told us nothing was abailable but when we called it was available. Also like others have mentioned if you can't get in for dinner going for Lunch is really nice and you can even choose which of the 3 beautiful rooms you want to sit unlike at dinner they sit you were they want etc. I personally preferred it for lunch. Good luck whichever you choose!! :)

We would only be going to MK just for Mickey's not so scary. And it's mainly for my daughter's birthday. We always do some sort of character dining but since she's hitting the double digits this year and has been wanting to dine at BOG every time we visit I figured a birthday meal would be perfect. Doesn't look too promising but I will keep trying.

Thank you. I've been doing that. Lots of mixed reviews and opinions.

I'm not going to give up! I called the WDW dining number (I've become a telephonic stalker- lol), I downloaded the My Disney Experience app and check as much as I can, I've given up on the online reservations :( I don't know why I don't feel as if it's as reliable as actually calling in. thank you for the tips! :)

180 days out Get up early, lots of coffee, speed dial once the lines open to call in. keep calling until you get through. Lucky rabbits foot, troll dolls, 4 leaf clover, etc.
If you don't get in keep trying closer to the date as some people cancel or change reservations.

We ate there for dinner in January and it was great.

That's how I did it 7am eastern on the phone 3 different lines! Was booked by 10 after for a 6:50 dinner. good luck! Also wearing mouse ears helps LOL
