Be Our Guest Reservation seems impossible. Any tips?

I was late on making dining reservations, because we moved our dates forward on the last minute. We are trying to get in too. You can also check online too, instead of calling. What we are going to do, if we can't get a reservation there, is do the quick service lunch (even if there is a long line). You still dine in the same rooms and I'm sure it's still very magical, based on what the people on the phones are telling me. Good luck!

Don't give up - and when you are there, don't hesitate to try a walk-up - they are keeping some tables aside for walk-ups, a few of my agents have been successful with this on their own trips.

I had to kinda lie to get my reservation but anything for disney right? :angelic:
I couldn't get a reservation for 3 ppl in september so I "accidently" added an extra person and magically 4 reservations were available... I called and told them I didn't mean to put in 4 people and they switched it to 3 for me

Keep trying but have a back up plan just in case, perhaps the castle has some openings. Too bad you couldn't do MK another day too then you could go to BOG for lunch.

180 days out Get up early, lots of coffee, speed dial once the lines open to call in. keep calling until you get through. Lucky rabbits foot, troll dolls, 4 leaf clover, etc.
If you don't get in keep trying closer to the date as some people cancel or change reservations.

We ate there for dinner in January and it was great.

180+10 seems to be the most sure way of getting an ADR.

180+10 is surely the way to go.....once that has passed, check everyday at 6 A.M., 12:00 noon give or take a few mins, and 6:00P.M. I like using the online adrs better than by phone, as the last time I even used the dial up was the first day the adrs opened for BoG. Don't give up and be relentless!!

Really? When I was there they were turning people away, said they didn't take any walk-ins, and people were getting irate. It was quite a scene!

Yes, at least 2 of my team members have reported back that they were able to walk up and get a reservation.

One said that they hold a few for the end of the day, and when she walked up there were only 3 left.

The other said that they hold a few per hour.

It sounds like they were playing with different schemes to see what would work best.

I am sure that the walk-ups go fast too, so if they were all gone when you were there, then they would need to turn people away.

I've heard that Be Our Guest wasn't even open for dinner during the Christmas parties last year. Are they even taking reservations during the Halloween parties at all?

I did 180+10 at 6am est online and was already booked for our dates Dec. 7-11! But, I keep calling every day! Hopefully we'll get lucky!

Also if you do get a dinner reservation, make sure you tell the wait staff that you're celebrating a birthday - that's the only way you can get "the grey stuff" . . . and I hear its delicious!

Holy cow! That's crazy! I booked the first day I could for last December and got a reservation with no problems. Oh, and we were celebrating our honeymoon and got the grey stuff!

Similar story: My sister went to WDW in early 2009 with my aunt (who is almost as much of a Disney fan as I am). Six months out, they could not get a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. My sister called all the way thru their last day at WDW and they GOT A DINNER RESERVATION for their final night!
Just goes to show, if you are really persistant you can get a reservation! (I personally have still not been to Cinderella's Royal Table or Be Our Guest but NEXT TIME!)
