I can't see how they would be able to not honor it. I expect those ones will populate over to MDE once the system comes back up. If not, a phone call should fix things for you.

Hm, Looks like you have not been to WDW recently, If it does not exist on their tablet they accuse you of faking the reservation, Has not happened to ME yet but it has to some friends who thought they were being proactive by screenshotting every Disney reservation... Roy is spinning in his grave.

In attempting to do Online Checkin for a client, it appears that part of the system is down as well. I'd guess it's all reservations, save for FastPass+ selections.

You're doing it wrong. MyMagic+ is an amazing system, any bugs are only because they're still in the testing phase, and any problems are all in your imagination.

Or at least that's what half the people here would have you believe.
 
Finally got through on the phone. Very pleasant conversation made it clear that the entire dining reservation system is, in fact down. You can't make ANY dining reservations at this time.

Of course, there is no indication of when the problem will be resolved.

I was on at 6:30 this morning. I found a reservation, went through every step to book it and when I hit confirm it said there was an error. I never got a confirmation email. I tried again, with less times available, same result. Then no more times were left. The date I was trying for was Sunday May 17. I tried on tablet and laptop.

Now that I am out of class and able to call, Verizon is claiming the dining and main numbers don't exist. I'm still trying the DVC line, it works but it is busy. I know I'll probably hear the same thing when I get through, but I'll keep checking the reservation page today.

I never trusted the dern thing from the start... I've been doing screenshots immediately after booking anything since planning for our 2014 trip.

FWIW, both of the reservations I made early today have now populated in their respective MDE accounts, including the one we did *not* get a confirmation email for. No phone calls required.

Glad to hear that, I never like to hear about people losing out on stuff at Disney because of the technical shortcomings of Disney's creaky systems.

Just keep in mind, you could get all the way to the confirmation page and another person can still get the reservation before you. Some reservations come down to a matter of seconds, because people forget that they are not the only person trying to book reservations at that exact moment. That is why some people get the error message at the end, because the computer sees it as an error in the booking process since it was actually just booked by someone else.

Ok that's what I was starting to think. Do you think they'll open more times at a later date, like I've seen them do with normal sit down restaurants? That's how we gotten some in the past.

I am going a week at end of March it is not showing up in my options if I change a fastpass
It's not a fast pass reservation anymore, it's a standard adr. And like the guy above said, they're likely long gone. None available any day, lunch or dinner, for my trip may 4-11.

It's not called a FastPass anymore, it is booked through the WDW Dining Reservations section.

Can you imagine the mockery if Mickey D's started taking reservations for lunch, Which effectively this is, It's a QS restaurant for crying out loud - speaks loudly to Disney does not have ENOUGH dining in the MK hence the insane reservation policies.

Shows that Disney does not know how to use transactions in a database, i.e. the element is locked until committed or backed out. There should NEVER be an error like this in a reservation or purchase system.

The no reservations available should be at the START of the process not the END, Systems should NEVER throw errors like this it speaks to poor design and worse coding.
