My check in is February 25th. When i type in my 12 digit code it says invalid:(. I have chatted with the online help desk and they have assured my that on Feb 25th i will be able to walk up for lunch. So take that with however many grains of salt you'd like

So I'm confused. Reservations are going to have to be made for the counter service lunch now? Will there be any kind of standby option left at all? If not that's very unfortunate.

Is there a table reserved for you or do you have to battle the crowds for one? I really don't get it. PS - the town drunk just came up to me and was just wondering if they serve beer and wine at lunch.

No beer and wine at lunch that I can remember. How it works is one of two ways:

1) If you pre-ordered your food, you scan your magic band upon arrival, get your receipt and immediately proceed to whatever table you want to sit at.

2) If you did not pre-order your food, you get "fastpassed" to the ordering kisoks/cashiers.

The standby line was managed to ensure there were enough tables for everyone, so there was no need to wait/fight for tables. The question is, will they manage a reservation / standby ratio or will they just go full reservations.

Got lunch reservations this morning for our mid April trip and for a client's late April trip.

Thankfully, we got the confirmation emails before the system bought a farm... Now the reservation isn't showing up on MDE and you can't manually add it to your profile because the confirmation number, straight off the email, "isn't valid."

Good grief.

My experience so far...

First of all it couldn't find any times on the date I chose in June and gave me an error message, then it did...

I am now stuck at the point when you try to confirm with your credit card details and it again just brings back an error message.

Anyone else stuck in the same place or having similar problems?

It seems to be the whole system right now. I managed to get in at 5:50 and booked 2 BOG lunch reservations (both with confirmations) before the system crapped out. Since then, it's taken a terribly long time to locate and display our reservations and FP+ selections, with lots of functionality disabled.

Same problem here. Have an email confirmation from before the system taking a dive, but can't link it. Then tried to get a different date and keeps crapping out, each time at a different step in the process. Frustrating.

Yes. The system seems to be having problems!!

I don't know if this is a bug or if people are actually booking slots this fast but when I select a time, go to confirm and I get an error message if I go back to start again the time slot I chose has gone!
So either...
a) someone else has taken it
b) the system thinks I've reserved it
or
c) it get's stuck a statement of reservation even though I haven't confirmed

I am going to get on with the rest of my day and come back to this later!

I can't see how they would be able to not honor it. I expect those ones will populate over to MDE once the system comes back up. If not, a phone call should fix things for you.

You may have to call a couple of times though, and the second call may need to be with a supervisor. Our last trip included a dinner at BOG for three. However, several days later the reservation (for some stupid reason) read the reservation for two. I finally had to speak with a supervisor, but it was cleared up.

Jumping through all these hoops to reserve a meal on vacation is ludicrous.

Finally got through on the phone. Very pleasant conversation made it clear that the entire dining reservation system is, in fact down. You can't make ANY dining reservations at this time.

Of course, there is no indication of when the problem will be resolved.

Do you now make a lunch reservation on the same page you do a dinner reservation, or do you still have to use this separate page?
