I am going to Disney world for my honeymoon this coming October and one of the restaurants my fiancé and I are dying to try is Be Our Guest in magic kingdom. We get to book it in three days eeekk! super excited.. but also super nervous as to how I am actually going to be able to get a reservation there..since its coming up so soon I've been Kinda following how quickly the restaurant books up online and I've noticed that right at midnite, if you try to make a reservation there online it tells you that it cannot complete your request and to try again later... I'm assuming this is from all of the ppl booking it... so I wait until 7 Am when the phone lines open up and by tht time everything is fully booked :-/

does anyone know how to get a reservation there?? and tips from ppl who actually have had a reso there?? any help would be greatly appreciated... it will be my finances first time at Disney and we really want it to be special

Hi there!

All I did was make our ressies on line right at the 180 day mark and got dinner there for our trip in June. I had no problem at all. I started at 7 am. The website wouldn't let me do it at midnight. Good luck and congrats on your wedding!!

Congrats on your wedding!

Just call at 7 a.m. (I actually start dialing 5 minutes prior when I do my ADR's) - you may or may not be on hold a bit. Just depends on what day you are trying to book and it's probably just luck if you get right through....that is pretty much the rule with any reservation. The restaurant has been established now for a bit and the 3 hour hoopla my Disney buddy had to endure trying to get a rezzie at Be Our Guest well that time is long gone so you should be fine. Enjoy!! :)

The website, if you are on your 180 days, will not allow you to book. You have to wait until it "opens" up for your 180 day. If you want to try a trick I use, my DH and I both call and both hop on the computer and try at the same time. We have only done this once and it worked b/c usually we don't have any issues at the 180 day mark to make our ADRs. If you cant get the day you want, then have it planned out ahead of time what a back up will be and what other day will work for you to go. Good luck!!

I tried booking Be Our Guest and California Grill bang on the 180 day mark (3 days ago) using my Disney Dining Plan and *firstly* my confirmation number wouldn't allow me to sign in to make any reservations online (for some reason), so I rang the reservation line on two separate occasions that day and was told that I wasn't able to book for these restaurants yet because the availability for that period (from check-in on 7th October 2013) hasn't been released to them yet. Has anybody else had this problem? The 'cast members' on the phone calls said to just to call back every couple of weeks to check but obviously we don't want to miss out on the day they are available.

Whenever I search for the availability of either of these restaurants online (without trying to link our Dining plan) it just keeps saying "Sorry, we were unable to find available times". Is this because they are fully booked or because, as they said, the dates "haven't been released yet" for October 2013?

I've never been to Disney before so my head is all over the place trying to book everything and make it the perfect trip! Does anybody have any advice on the above? Thanks :)

The "Sorry we are unable to find available times" message means it is fully booked. BOG fills every slot the day they go on reserve 180 days out. If you get a telephone operator who has no idea what they are doing, hang up immediately and call back to get a different call center worker. 180 days out EXACTLY online at 6 am EST or 7 am by phone EST.

Thanks so much for this advice, I had almost given up hope thinking we'd completely missed out. Went on the website this morning at exactly 6 EST (11am UK time) and it said straight away that there were no available times. Got straight on the phone at 7 EST and got through to the most helpful person I've spoken to all along and she managed to book us in. Wasn't on the day we originally planned for but we're in so I'm over the moon! So excited now!

Thank yooou!

We just got back and I had no trouble booking a reservation there. But in my case, we were staying 11 nights, and we were eating there on our very last night. So I'm guessing the reason we had such ease booking this place is that relatively few people stay that long, and of those who do, there weren't many who were eating here on their last night. Since we were eating here on our 11th night, the vast majority of WDW guests would not have reached their 180+10 date yet, so we were probably one of the first bookings for that day.
