Hmm...and you call yourself a fan...tsk tsk...you got them on Christmas right??? Well, if I'm doing that math right...you should've watched each one about 4 3/4 times (if I did the math correctly)

:p Actually... out of all of them... 3 is my least fav... That is why I dont know a lot about that one....

I really like the 2015 setting in part 2 the best. I was never a big fan of westerns (ala bttf 3).... and something about seeing a DeLorean with Huge whitewall tires ...then railroad wheels....is a big turn off for me...

I always found it odd that they found those tires in the 50's and they had the same lug configuration :lookaroun

I understand what you mean...and it must've really bothered you that this fine piece of machinery could no longer move out of it's own way.

(although...did you enjoy seeing them toss garbage in it???)

We know JMarc...we just like discussing the "unanswered" bits and trying to come up with some logic for it :)

Yeah I know, But some here seem to take it so serouusly with the why and the how.

(Oh, and even as a young kid...he was a great pilot...meaning he took out the battle droid control station)

maybe quon was his first teacher and yoda continued his training later when he was seduced by the dark side????

Honestly Part 3 is my favorite, and the least confusing. Still, there are a few places. I will not mention Freaks points again, although how did they manage to pull that Train out of the ravine?

1) The Tombstone in 1955 reads "Erected by his beloved Clara" or something to that effect. How did Clara meet Emmett in the old west if she fell into the ravine? (She was only saved when Marty and Doc went to check out the site)

2) (Maybe I have my dates really wrong here) How in the world did Doc have enough time to set up so many gadgets and establish himself in the town (everyone knows him) by the time Marty arrives? The Bartender even says... "Remember last 4th of July Emmett?" Maybe I just don't know how long Doc was in the west before Marty arrived.

3) Here's another Mind Blower! :D If Marty no longer gives in when called a chicken, and his future is now unwritten, then it is very possible that his future is nothing like the one Doc and Marty went to correct for his son, therefore Doc and Marty may have been erased in the future because they had no reason to go there... and all the events after (the almanac and Old West) never would have occured. :hammer: :veryconfu  :brick: Big Paradox there.... time travel is too complicated to be a reality.

OK I'm finished Diva.

#1 the original history of hill valley didn't include doc since his family came in the 1940s to the US so clara had no one to meet her in the original history, and the horse spooking still occured. Then when doc arrived in the old west he meet clara at the station and they had a relationship before Griff shot him for the 80 dollars . Since Doc would spend his remaning days in the old west, or so he thought . After marty arrirved to save Doc the history changed again and doc wanted to get back to his time with the time machine brought when marty arrived so again clara wasn't met at the train, but since Marty and Doc were trying to find a way of getting the Deloran to 88MPH by Train, they were there in the vincinity to hear Clara's screams screams for help and came to her rescue so in the final history clara never went over the ravine. the name changed to eastwood ravine instead of clayton ravine, from shonash after "Clint eastwood"(Marty) went over in the ravine in the train wreck.

#2 when doc wrote the letter to marty 8 months had passed for Doc, after marty and the 1955 doc retrived the deloran from the mine they discover the tombstone and the date on there, the decision to go back to help 1985 dock in the old west was spured by that event as well as choosing the date of Martys arrivial just days before griff shot him, so being what the frontier towns were a business man would know every one if there long enough and Doc being ther local Blacksmith would have madw him knowen to the town, so doc was there before the 4th to know them that well being it was only two months prior to the arivial of marty

#3 ......

Yes, and i saw on the last DVD that the Q & A actually answered some of my questions here, and some I hadn't thought about, like how future Biff was able to return to 2015 even though he had changed the future... I can't believe none of us asked that. But they explained it very smartly... apparently Zemekis had put more thought into his movies than i thought, or at least he came back later and worked it out logically.

Yes, Emmett would have met Clara at the Railroad if marty have never went back, and he would have been shot at the festival and died over a period of two days of bleeding... ouch!
