I wonder what happened to the original?Shame they don't put it in the 25th exhibit.
The original took up residence at the Concourse Steakhouse, until someone dropped and broke him.

Remember that funky hallway i ended up in once that is right behind the counter and wall at Guest Relations?
I get the feeling it leads to that door that is seperating Forests from Fantastic Plastics.
That's what it would have to be, unless there is another hallway hiding back there somewhere that I somehow missed during my tenure at Innoventions.
The curved window visible from Guest Relations is now office space for one of the Epcot executives. I had a meeting up there about a year ago. I'm trying to rack my brain to remember any meaningful detail about what's up there. I do know that I took a wrong turn somewhere and briefly ended up in what looked like an old theater/projection room sort of near there. I don't recall seeing any models of the park. I do, however, recall going past a large room with mirrors on the walls on the first floor, approximately behind the forest exhibit (I was rather unsuccessfully looking for the bathroom, which turned out to be in the tunnel). You know what, I'm not positive now, because the window backstage is not curved. I think you're right about the curved portion looking down into Guest Relations.
There is nothing hardly controlled from Central anymore, not since they decentralized central back in 1994. There is no point in reopening any half existent walls.

There is still a lot of things controlled from there. Just not any individual rides like it used to be. Still the parkwide lighting, audio, and ECS is controlled from there. All the wiring is still there, so it is like a hub or a junction box now for some of the rides.
Someone dropped and broke SMRT-1... that's just not cool at all.
