Baby Girl!!

Remember a while ago, I asked for girl names for my uncle's baby? Well, guess who was born today?

They went with the name I had at the top of my list... Cindy! Yay! Now when that little girl grows up and wonders how she got her name, I'm gonna say me... and a bunch of strange internet people. :lol:

This is what happened this morning...

At 7:30 AM, I'm sound asleep.. the phone rings... zzzz... phone keeps ringing... zzzz... phone persists on ringing... "Alright, alright, I'll get up!"

I pick up the phone, it's my mom. She's at the hospital with my uncle and wife. This is the gist of the convo.

Mom: Vince, your aunt's in labor.
Me: Cool. *yawn*
Mom: We need a boy's name.
Me: Boy?! I thought it was supposed to be a girl!
Mom: It is, but they're afraid it could come out a boy. We need a boy's name.
Me: Ummm... Uhhhh... ahhhh! (Reminder: I just got out of bed) I can't think of one! It's their baby, let them come up with a name!!
Mom: They can't think of one either!
Me: Gah!

Thank goodness it was a girl... :lol:

That is so funny! Months of ultrasounds to have that kind of worry... at labor???!! :lol: First doubting about the se x, then desperate for a name just in case it was not a mouth what they saw in the ultrasounds! :lol: :lol:
