Rumor Avengers E-Ticket More Dead Than You'd Think

FROM BOX OFFICE MOJO: Right now, the pandemic opening weekend record to beat is F9’s $70 million. If Black Widow matches that number, it would be the lowest grossing opening of an MCU film since Ant-Man ($57.2 million) in 2015. Of the last 10 Marvel films, only two have opened to under $100 million (excluding Spider-Man: Far from Home, which had a Tuesday opening ahead of July 4th, and would have surpassed $100 million with a Friday opening). Doctor Strange opened to $85 million in 2016, and Ant-Man and the Wasp opened to $75.8 million in 2018. It is hard for us to say whether or not in “normal times” Black Widow would have opened closer to those films or closer to films such as Captain Marvel ($153.4 million) or Thor: Ragnarok ($122.7 million). For the current situation, though, breaking pandemic records seems good enough, even if it puts Black Widow at the lower end of recent MCU films.

So don't count your chickens before they are hatched. Let's wait and see what it actually does.
I'm not an expert at box office tracking, but with a 40 million opening I would think that Black Widow would easily surpass 15 million + per day required to pass F9.

Don't feed the troll. Black widow is on track for 85+ million.
YEAH BECAUSE POSTING AN ACTUAL SNIP IT FROM BOX OFFICE MOJO THE LEADERS IN KNOWING BOX OFFICE NUMBERS IS "TROLLING". YEAH, OK PAL. MARVEL IS VERY MUCH IN TROUBLE BECAUSE SHANG-CHI AND ETERNALS ARE GOING TO BOMB HARD AND THIS MOVIE IS NOT DOING SO GOOD COMPARED TO OTHER MARVEL MOVIES. ITS VERY MUCH ON THE LOW END OF THE MARVEL SPECTRUM

They are just anti anything disney right now.
and some just want to be Disney "homers" no matter what. and I DON'T consider Marvel, Disney. MCU started before Disney purchased Marvel. These characters existed long before the MCU. I love Marvel. These are not Disney characters. I don't like the new direction of the mcu and think this movie is too little too late. but not every Marvel movie is 'DOING GREAT" just because it's Marvel.

This is not the correct way to interpret that article. At all.
I posted a segement word for word they said its on the lower end of marvel movies if it opens under 100 mil. They said if it matches F9's 70 mil (which is the best pandemic opening so far) that puts it as the lowest opening since Ant-Man. That is from BOX OFFICE MOJO directly. Go back and read what I posted. Its black and white with the numbers to back it up compared to the other lowest opening Marvel MCU films. There is no interpretation. It's clear as day.
