This could also be test balloon "leaked" by WDI to see fan reaction. And then modifications will happen based on that reaction.
Oh! It's a test! I get it! Ha! That explains Pixar Pier. Hopefully they'll finish testing on the Pier sooner rather than later and they can add a more appropriate theme.

...right?

...guys?

Ok, ok. I now agree with all of you. It will be a meh looking land with some meh attractions in Phase 1 with a potential but not likely exciting coaster in Phase 2. Yep so there you go, I'm on board with you.

Sorry for being such an optimist about it.

So now what.....

Now this is much more like It! Except I think the coaster will be exciting, even if probably housed in a meh showbuilding with a meh facade.

Huh? Read some of Elon musk /SpaceX real world aspirations , we could very well have a starter colony on Mars within 20 years. This isn’t just SciFi, billions of real dollars are being invested in these capabilities.

Huh? Re-read my posts. I was talking about the aesthetics of the land. So unless you want Tomorrowland set in Mars I’m not sure how this is relevant. I wasn’t saying one Mission to Mars 2.0 attraction couldn’t work.

read an article about the guardians coaster going in Epcot and the way it was describes sounds quite interesting.
with cars that turn and stop in areas for show scenes as well as fast thrilling sections.
the article says that the system is one of a kind and that it will also be quite long.
something it said threw me off which was that the space inside the show building is much much larger than the show space of epcots spaceship earth attraction.

im still hoping that DCA does get a fully themed coaster like that. would be something quite amazing for the park

The GotG will do controlled turns, but there are no planned stops, like at 7DMT.

The thrilling sections are as thrilling as the other "family coasters" (not kiddie coasters), e.g., there are no inversions.

By volume, the big cube is four times the sphere of Spaceship Earth.

Terribly boring design ...... non existent design flourish ..... and me: non existent excitement for this expansion. I’d rather have the 2001 tractor displays back.

FWIW, Micechat is still indicating on their Instagram that Spider-Man will use the pendulum ride system.

So guess they haven't gotten the note that its now a shooter ride....

In fairness, everything thing there is correct. There IS a patent for a pendulum attraction. If I didn’t have @TP2000 ’s neighbor lady to indicate that it has been killed, I’d be intrigued about how that patent jives with the web shooter rumors.

True, just interesting they are trying to indicate the patent still applies to the attraction going into DCA. It makes you wonder if they still have some insider with access that knows something we all don't know. Who knows maybe things have swung (pun intended) back in that direction.

Anyways, until we have something more concrete the shooter is still what is coming.
