I get what they're going for, but man, the more I look at it, the more lackluster that concept art is.
For me, the most outstanding Marvel aesthetics in their films have always been things not of earth. Xandar, Titan, Aasgard. I'll even toss Wakanda into that (yes, I know its meant to be in Africa...don't @ me). Visually appealing and otherworldy feeling.

Not this.

I see what you re saying but For me the most amazing Marvel aesthetics are the end credits when I’m able to walk out of another repetitive snooze fest.

It looks how I'd expect a Stark funded Avengers campus to look like.
Looks like Tony took a property his dad used for manufacturing and updated it for a new purpose. "Stark Automotive." Did Howard Stark actually produce his floating car? I do like the idea of layering a history to the land instead of making it all clean and new.

Yes, the Hovercar was seen in Agent Carter in its final episode. It was used to close the Zero Matter portal.

So they are layering it with more MCU history using nods and Easter eggs.

I'm not necessarily against Marvel in the parks, but man they keep doing it in the blandest way. This whole fourth wall breaking approach just damages it at it's core to me, and it seems like they really struggle coming up with appealing building designs for this. Across the way, they come up with a whole new planet with it's own backstory, design and cast of characters for Star Wars, and here they... make a mall with some Spider-man logos.

Anyone know what this crane like structure is?

Not sure, but there's something else just to the right of the spider logo that intrigues me as well.
Also, has anyone else noticed the Guardians Tower is significantly embellished in this? Looks like more than simple artistic license to me:

Above the Avengers Logo is a hint at another structure:

It's tough to really say for sure, but it does appear that way. I predict the Tower will get some attention for Marvel Land, though my thoughts were for some kind of show enhancement. I'd be cheered if they put some effort into the outside.

I think the tower is rendered according to how they wish it looked...but reality is another matter.

OK...but if my doors physically won't let it in more than 1,200 people in an hour, how could there possibly ever be a number higher than that in my store? I mean, let's assume the store is SO large that not one person left during the hour. I'm still left with 1,200 people.
The Hollywood bowl has a capacity of something like 8,000 people. But if I stuck those 1200 people per hour doors on it that doesn’t mean only 1200 people could ever be inside. It just means it’d take 7 hours to fill it up with no one leaving.

We’re talking about a rides total capacity vs it’s THRC - or throughput. So for example Disneyland and Disney’s worlds pirates have similar THRCs or the amount of people per hour because they share the same ride system. 3200 people per hour. However - Disneyland’s is twice the length and therefore has a capacity that’s is double WDW. It takes 800 people off the streets vs 400.

we have a rendering from NYT! Look very futuristic! DCA has a version of Tomorrowland.

Yet another step back to California Adventure circa 2001. Nothing says California, here, now, today! as those cell phone towers do.

If I may further expand on what you've stated, somehow world building became synonymous with easter eggs and references and as a result storytelling in all mediums has been lessened for it. If we are to look at recent projects have shown us, Mission: Breakout! and Pixar Pier all represent this; a regression. Where theming results to intellectual property based clutter or self-referential, fan-service type nonsense that doesn’t make any sense to the environment or attraction. Details have increasingly become in-jokes, trivia, and references to the past or other parts of the company, rather than elements that add depth and suggest believable histories for these places we know are fake but are paying to be tricked into believing are real. History and purpose without fan-service baggage.

Details at Disney theme parks should sell the illusion, not call attention to the smoke and mirrors.
