I really hope Disney uses the characters and has small shows/ interacts with the guests more than at GE.

I do really hope that that E-ticket does come one day, it looks so cool.

It's really something that GE has all the scale with none of the life, but it appears that AC will likely have the streetmosphere with none of the scale. I think I know what I'll enjoy more at the end of the day, but why couldn't Disney have both?

Ceremony was well done, still not really sold on the land. Going to rely on a lot of character interaction as they highlighted frequently. Will be interesting to see how it looks when we go next weekend.

I will say, the dialog and "stunts" prior to the stuntronic were extremely... cringey? Yikes?

Reminds me of Power Rangers.

One thing that I appreciate is explained in the virtual tour is the backstory for WEB Slingers. I actually don't hate the "young inventors" context; it's very geared towards encouraging kids in STEM, which I think perhaps also explains the youthful angle described for the attraction (I won't spoil myself watching the POV since I'm going this Saturday). I do think it's unfair for the ride to be the lynchpin for the land, much like how Smugglers' Run was when GE opened.

Imagineering got the chance to work with the Spider-Man IP and they made one of the most boring looking theme park rides of all time. How? Were they that concerned about not looking like they're copying Universal?

If folks on this site can come up with some amazing attraction ideas I'm betting it's the same for the people who work for the actual company. I'm guessing they came up with some stuff, but then Chapek and Co. wanted to push for cheaper while being able to sell those web gauntlets as well and this this ride was born.

I can't post the link without mod approval, but there was some leaked concept art for a Spiderman roller coaster than had everything planned out and looked super cool.
