Guests sit back to back but the entire vehicle unit is enclosed. It appears the open window is a screen?

Cool - but can I express a bit of regret that they don't only open the 'red door' but instead the whole side wall is split in two? I was sort of hoping for a taste of Tokyo's 20K ride.

So it looks like two vehicles of 8 are connected for a total of 16 people per dispatch. TSMM has 8 people per dispatch, so if the rate of dispatch is roughly the same as TSMM, would that mean roughly the double theoretical capacity (of the double, not the triple TSMM).

I am so excited for this land and this new attraction that I may actually be able to ride unlike most new attractions these days! 😍 I accept that it's not perfect and I shall love it anyway.

Okay, maybe I'll call him "Stan" instead of George, however. ;)

i think the ride vehicles look cool, and the fact that your sitting back to back intrigues me as to how much the ride will be swiveling as you go through it. Also Iit may be the reason they are not open top and have a giant window has to do with the hand tracking system

The Tiki Room is an E ticket to me.
The Enchanted Tiki Room is the original E+ attraction. It cost more than an E ticket.

You sit back-to-back for the same reason you do on Toy Story Midway Mania!. The ride layout is known.

Guests can get their own Spider-Bots and more Avengers Campus merchandise at Downtown Disney and Disney’s California Adventure starting December 4th.

Is anyone else feeling like this was severely underwhelming? 😂

Like you can even see it in the production quality of the video. It looks like a school project done by freshman in high school with some good editing. Plus the toy doesn't even move or do a realistic "fight" with another bot, it just flashes its lights at each other (but hey, it's a great way for parents to buy two toys, cuz then they can "fight", so props for disney for being economically smart).

Maybe I'm being pessimistic rn but I can't help but feel as if Disney could have done a much better job with this. It's smart that they're still releasing it in time for Christmas and I'm sure it'll make money but... come on. I swear though, if this is $50 I'm gonna lose my mind.

A fun enough looking remote controlled toy, though it's sure to be overpriced. The "fight" mechanic is the very definition of underwhelming, however. They would have been wise to have it controlled via app, in which they could have added some screen based dynamics to the fighting.
