I.

I just can’t....

It’s absurd. It’s hilarious because it’s the one Land in the entire resort where you absolutely cannot get away with it because it is in fact the Avengers setting up campus in DCA. They should probably know about that 20 story building 10 feet away.

Just turn the damn thing back into TOT with the Paris upgrades and build Hollywoodland 2.0 already. Make the trolley turn left into the backlot that would contain a 🍆 Tracy ride and the Ink n Paint club.

No but don’t forget the Avengers aren’t aware of the situation yet. In this Meta Avengers Campus that the Avengers set up in California Adventure they are not aware of the tower yet since it came out of nowhere (KABOOM). So the backstory for GOTG:MB in relationship to the rest of the land permanently takes place in the first 5 seconds of the tower landing. Before the Avengers look outside to hear what the noise was all about. 🙄
They're probably going to say something like this:
"Mission Breakout is a test for all the next-gen Avengers who want to become the best Avenger"

Reminds me when I hear people trying to rationalize the asphalt parking lot and carny booths and rides at Animal Kingdom.

Just please stop WDI, you’re embarrassing yourselves.

You still see him...lots of WDW TOT “experts” in this thread...

I'm by no means an expert or even an "expert", but I distinctly remember when the ride first opened Rod Serling spoke to you at the end rather than it being just a voiceover and I haven't seen that since. You're right that they project quick images from the TV show opening including him, but it's not the same.

Have my March 2020 trip to Disneyland Paris booked- 2.5 days, a half day at the Studios Park and two in Disneyland proper.

I plan on getting on Paris's Tower a few times- intentionally not watching any videos of their Tower to hopefully be pleasantly surprised.

Unless it has at least 1 amazing AA, a highly detailed queue and you get to pilot an iconic ship then I doubt it. It will be better than the Antman ride though.

I agree only because I think they re going to tweak Falcon in the coming years with WAY better missions that feel more like Star Wars and possibly some missions that include a little more movement. Ultimately I think Spidey and the future Falcon missions will be comparable in terms of fun and overall quality.

I have no expectations for Spidey at all. Doesn’t look to be much.

I’m concerned about this Avengers ride they’re currently designing. It needs to be much better than Rise of the Resistance, which is a good ride but it doesn’t beat some other rides for me, such as Indy. They need to really bring it with the Avengers. Hopefully they do.

That Captain America coaster/dark ride hybrid sounded great, even though it had poor capacity.

Like Indy, it sounded like a ride with real, physical thrill along with practical effects and AAs. That's what Avengers deserves.

Exactly. They haven’t announced an opening date, but I’m assuming the ride isn’t going to be opening for a few years. They have time to come up with something great.

I'm very excited for you! If one of your aims is soaking up the details of the main park, you might even try for more time than that-I was there for four full days and was never bored or found myself lacking things to do. Make sure you eat at Walt's (food is meh but atmosphere is incredible). DLP is such a wonderful place!
