It seems like the ride was designed as a Toy Story repurpose for another park that doesn't have Toy Story and then cloned into DCA before the original version was built.

I’m just holding out some foolish hope that they re not stupid enough to put practically the same shooter as TSMM in the same park and that Paris and Anaheim versions are different. Which of course would go against all the cloning examples we ve seen in the last few years.

As long as the shooting mechanic isn't yanking back on some dumb little string to shoot web, I'm good. One of my many gripes about TSMM is the torture it puts your forearms through. Give me a trigger and a full range of motion with the weapon.

Having to do the upside down Spider-Man wrist to shoot might be equally or more annoying though.

RedLetterMedia discusses Comic Con and Marvel's upcoming slate in their latest video. Lots of the same I've been saying. People who enjoy the Marvel movies but aren't diehards are not going to be excited for this upcoming slate at all.

I'm excited for Dr. Strange because I really like his character and want to see him fully using his powers in (what sounds like) a more horror tinged atmosphere.

I'm excited for Thor because he's become my favorite Avenger and I love what Taika Waititi has done with his films.

Beyond that though... ? :🤷:

I like what they did with Thor's character in Ragnorak and I really liked him in Infinity War (not at all with Endgame), but Taika Waititi's humor didn't work for me that well. I'm definitely looking forward to his upcoming film Jojo Rabbit, but it was too crude, crass, and vile for me.
Girl byeeeee.
Canada's nice where there aren't any people. Its natural wonders are glorious, but its cities are depraved filth. Like walking through a garbage can of human depression.

sounds like several cities here in the states as well :).
This is from someone that has actually driven thru 47 states and flown to one. i skipped North Dakota can't find a reason to visit that state. I might have to go and check out the Badlands overlook since its close to border. That way i can just drive in and out and say i have visited 49 states. Hawaii is the other state i haven't visited for some odd reason

I’ve been to the slums of Cleveland and it wasn’t as depressing as downtown Toronto.

when was the last time you visited Los Angeles? talk about depressing and i have been to India several times. India might be dirty and a bit depressing but at least it has charm and amazing people. That is more than i can say for LA and thats just one city in the states that can use some help

I live in Los Angeles. It’s not good, but Toronto was certainly worse. I’m a believer in small town America and everyone owning a farm.

I haven't been reading the on-goings in this thread, but I thought I would share some info with you in what appears to be the right place:

Operations was given the efficiency numbers for Spiderman, and it looks like it will have almost the exact same guest capacity numbers as MFSR. The ride is designed to move 1,700 guests p/ hr at max efficiency, 1,600 guests at optimal. When you factor in all the normal daily occurrences, it will likely land somewhere between 1,400 and 1,500, as the top-end numbers are rarely met once WDI turns it over.

Anyway, it's not terribly interesting, but it's what I got so I'm tossing it your way.
If those numbers are basically the same as TSMM then we almost certainly have a clone on our hands.
