So their solution was to add a static figure of Snow White once in the ride while the Evil Queen shows up around 5 times! Great work Disney! 😍
Placing the guest in the role of Snow White, submitting to the theme park medium. Theme parks are not movies, they are experiences. Watching someone else do something is hardly an experience.

What’s more likely: ***** made fake concept art that looks decently real, or WDI was lazy and inserted a sign from another property to save a minute? I’m feeling the latter, personally.

Thats not really lazy thats what concept art is. Its common practice for concept artists to do something like that especially if this was an image that wasn't intended for the public to see

I'm a believer in paint on a canvas so I find digital "art" lazy, especially when it takes elements from elsewhere.

Oh ya well I guess this new concept art can put to rest the trolley retheme rumor right? Weren’t some people thinking the Spiderman vehicle was a repainted Trolley in the original Marvel Land concept art.

I mean concept art is done to be as efficient and fast paced as possible, whatever gets the idea out to present to others. you’re not not going to find much acrylic or gouache in concept art for any industry really...maybe markers occasionally.

Was gonna say- the industrial warehouse military style is incredibly common in park rides now, and it's lifeless and dull.

It's just easy to execute so attraction designers love it.

This is going to be a little bit better than that. It’s going to be a new facility that Tony has built around the bones of an old automotive plant his father built. There will be a nice mix of old brickwork and new high-tech.

It's literally a dressed up warehouse. I don't care how many Stark logos they put up.

I like the attractions like Pirates, Splash, Mansion where I forget I'm in a building.

Im hoping the Dr Strange sequel does well and we get an attraction out of it. Its one of the few Marvel IPs that wouldn’t lend itself well to that warehouse look/aesthetic

CAnt wait to join Spideman on the ground going 2mph while he’s up there doing all the fun stuff. To play devils advocate for a second I understand that it’s harder to pull off an attraction where we are moving like Spider-Man that’s not a simulator AND is good for children/ people who get nauseous easily AND be agreeable to Chapeks budget.

Sometimes you have to go ALL IN in one direction and let chips fall where they may.

I feel like that's kinda what happened here. They want to give you the experience of "being" spider-man. When they looked at the verbs that entails and realized #1: web swinging was not going to be possible in the allotted budget they went all in on #2: web shooting. Not saying it's exciting but it comes from a place of wanting to have you doing something spider man esque
