Probably the most excited I’ve been for a movie since Way of Water.
Here's the first Avatar: Fire and Ash trailer:
A first trailer is almost always a teaser announcement that a new film is upcoming…. The 2nd trailer usually has more fleshed out plot pointsI saw that trailer last Saturday in front of the Fantastic 4. I still have no clue what the plot of it is.

I may be intrigued enough to see this one in a theater. As long as it's not 3+ hours long
How long is the Avatar 3 runtime? During a recent interview, Cameron confirmed that Avatar: Fire and Ash will have the same runtime as the 2022 sequel, which was 3 hours and 12 minutes long.
I'd be happy without a sinking boat this time. Get on the sinking boat. Get off the sinking boat. Get on the sinking boat. Repeat for an hour.I may be intrigued enough to see this one in a theater. As long as it's not 3+ hours long
Sequels don't tend to out perform their predecessors. For example 2 didn't out gross 1, so why would we think that 3 would out gross 2. My guess would be a range of $1.8B-$2.2B, which would still be a great take but still under both 1 and 2.It' not smart to bet against Cameron, but I can't see this one out grossing the last one
How many times has everyone watched Avatar 2?
Twice, once in theaters and once at home. How many times has everyone watched Avatar 2?

But real question, these days how many adults actually watch most movies multiple times? I'd say few actually do. Sure you may watch it like me once in theaters and once at home, but beyond that you're not watching it multiple times beyond that. Its the age of streaming, too much availability and access to content. Very few people still have a collection of VHS/DVDs that they pop in every weekend to watch on repeat. I know you may with your digital setup where you have a catalog of movies (that you've talked about a few times here), but most aren't like you.![]()
