The swampy location they are in here before this still appears in the new ride.

I saw that trailer last Saturday in front of the Fantastic 4. I still have no clue what the plot of it is.

My guess would be an invading Na’vi tribe and more intra-species conflict this round. I’m a bit disappointed to see the military again, though.

It would make sense for the humans to retreat, regroup and an eventual larger planet war with various factions we’ve met in films 3/4 all joining forces. After the timeskip in film four.

Then there is the spiritual god plot thread with Sigourney that seems to be plotted out over multiple films.

It' not smart to bet against Cameron, but I can't see this one out grossing the last one
Sequels don't tend to out perform their predecessors. For example 2 didn't out gross 1, so why would we think that 3 would out gross 2. My guess would be a range of $1.8B-$2.2B, which would still be a great take but still under both 1 and 2.

How many times has everyone watched Avatar 2?
Twice, once in theaters and once at home.

But real question, these days how many adults actually watch most movies multiple times? I'd say few actually do. Sure you may watch it like me once in theaters and once at home, but beyond that you're not watching it multiple times beyond that. Its the age of streaming, too much availability and access to content. Very few people still have a collection of VHS/DVDs that they pop in every weekend to watch on repeat. I know you may with your digital setup where you have a catalog of movies (that you've talked about a few times here), but most aren't like you. ;)

I've only watched Avatar 2 once in the theater and never at home. Every time I attempt to, I ask am I up for a three hour movie? I say no and default to some short horror or 1950's b-movie. I ended up watching that Debby Ryan (Disney channel's Jessie) vampire movie Night Teeth. I don't think Debby Ryan ages.

Agree mostly but I think there are a couple caveats. When getting ready to watch to the watch the sequel of the original film you haven’t seen in a while or marathon type movies like Star Wars, Indiana Jones and maybe one day Avatar.
