Wow that's nuts. I wonder if Avatar 2 will do well next year.

Until endgame is released back into theaters. Except I think when endgame comes back, it could do some serious business. Not just a few million. Once theaters are back, all they have to do is promote the return of the mcu, with a couple trailers for the new movies, and. BAM! Number one again, and for good this time.

Lol, that will happen for sure. I still think if they bring back endgame, it stomps on any avatar 1 box office. But maybe this is Disneys ploy. Keep re-releasing the 2 movies, so they will solidify the number one and two spot for the rest of eternity. Man that mouse is smart. Lol

During the shareholder meeting today, Chapek mentioned Avatar 2 coming out this December so I think it might actually happen this year! Of course, I won't believe it until I'm sitting in the theater, this thing has been pushed back so many times!

The Way Of Water. Hmm...

If this movie succeeds, could we possibly have an enhanced return of the Subs at WDW with a new theme to this movie?
All it would take would be a relocation of one lone parking area.

Wishful thinking, I know. But still... 🤞

While they are at it, they could retheme the Rainforest cafe to a Pandora-themed restaurant.

Saw the trailer before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It looks good! There were quite a few surprised gasps when the trailer started, so I think there may be more interest in Avatar as a franchise than Internet bubbles would have you believe.

I think there's been a bit of a turn. Lately, I have just come across people mocking the internet bubbles of, "no cultural impact." All the circle jerk nonsense.

The thing the internet circle jerks can't get around is that the film is actually legitimately good. So even if people get somewhat convinced it wasn't all that good from online bubbles. If they revisit the film. They'll see that it actually was great.

The underwater motion capture will be something to see. I wonder if it will be the new breakthrough. I wonder if Rob Marshal will use any of that for Little Mermaid, hence the long post-production period.

Trailer released online on Thursday, May 12.
