sounds right to me.So I will assume that construction begins early 2014 to meet the 2017 opening date?
He stopped having fun so he started posting in sports and politics forums instead. What happened to @Tim_4 ?
Not all. But you must know how bad things got (and are not still fully resolved)I never claimed to be giving detailed info, but at the time I was posting, all your precious "insiders" were asserting that NextGen overruns were going to lead to Avatar being cancelled in its entirety. They were wrong.
Thankfully, you are our go-to guy who stays on top of the permit applications.Definitely need to keep my eyes on the South Florida Water Management District permit site, that's probably where we will first see an indication of when construction will start.
Looking forward to the areal shots of the construction from @Scuttle
Should be interesting to watch it as it progresses.
Best part is that AK is out of the flight restrictions so I'll be able to get shots at 1,000 compared to 3,500 should make a huge difference in photo quality.Looking forward to the areal shots of the construction from @Scuttle

Rule #1 of foruming: don't bump a 2-year-old thread.Scuttle, are you still around and interested in doing overhead photos?
I'm around, I've just had a tom going on. Job/school, but I am trying to find the time. Trust me I want to get up as bad as you guys.Scuttle, are you still around and interested in doing overhead photos?
just wanted to repost this...this was what tim was saying two years agoThis is important. DAK Expansion, if you want to call it that, is not limited to Avatar. That's the biggest piece, but I'd put this project about halfway between Fantasyland and DCA in scope and scale.
