August Hours ?

Hi All! :wave:

I am helping a friend plan their Aug trip. They check in the 31st of July and that date is posted on waltdisneyworld.com - so I am assuming the Aug hours will be posted some time next week. But some times you all work your magic and know the hours early! :sohappy: Anyone have a link or know the Aug hours???

Look at everyone's else's posts, I was not the only one awaiting the hours. I like to plan my days well in advance so I can make ADR's the first day I am able to do so. It being the first week of free dining and all I was advised to make them the first day. Also I do not park hop, with 4 kids one being handicapped, park hopping is not for us so I do not have the leisure of getting on whatever bus arrives first.

You have to ignore people like that on here. Sometimes I think they are just looking to get under someones skin. You have no reason to explain to them about why you are frustrated. Planning is a good thing. Have fun on your trip and try to ignore those who try to bring you down. Hope you have a great trip and planning goes well. I have 4 kids and planning is a must for us all to get in what we want to see and do.

You must be looking at the UK site. Look at the US site.

Huh... strange. I'm looking at the US site, and i see the DAYS that EMH will be at each park on the calendar, but when I click through to the EMH page, it still only shows through July. I can't see any distinction between morning/evening. Strange. Sounds like it could be on my end. Who knows.

If you look at the AK calendar for August 29, for example, it shows "park hours 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM" and underneath "Extra Magic Hours 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM."

I don't understand what is so frustrating. You still have three months to plan. Since no one can make ADRs more than three months ahead it's not like knowing operating hours today will be any different from knowing them tomorrow and so on. How much time do you really need to plan a trip to a place you've been to before anyway? It would be one thing if it was your first time, but it shouldn't be difficult to come up with a decent plan in a short amount of time. Personally, I can't do that kind of planning. There are times where I picked a park based solely on what bus showed up first...or which park had the shortest line for the bus. Since you already have a tentative plan then there shouldn't be much modifying anyway.

This post is completely unnecessary! Just b/c your touring style is "fly by the seat of your pants" doesn't give you the right to look down on or criticize those that like to have a schedule/plan/itinerary! And for some people planning their trip is half the fun!

LOL I totally agree !!! Where are the Sept hours !!! I will have to guess the last 2 days of my trip
