I am just guessing and assuming here...maybe they droped the auction cause they did not get as much cash as they thought they would for it...and just used that "error" excuse.

ya they probably messed up somewhere, but considering the prices that other things have been going for (keel boat-9,000 i think, rocket rod vehicle- 5,000, disneyland "castle marquee sign-4,000, etc) 1700-2000 isnt that much, especially for a prop this big, i woulda expected at least into the 6 and 7 Ks.
