Attractions You Skip

I think mine are fairly standard but will post regardless:

MK-

Tiki room- Usually once a trip, but I might skip it if I go back in the next few years.

Swiss Family- Meant to experience it but forgot.

Alladin- I'm 23

Tom sawyer island- I just can't see runnin round the island instead of riding something else

Pooh- Will likely never ride again

Toon Town- No cartoon spin, no point for me.

Tea cups, carousel, dumbo- Again, I'm 23, and I don't need to wait an hour to get dizzy

Speedway, astro orbitor- Same concept, although i would be tempted to go on orbitor if the lines weren't so insane

Epcot:

Innoventions- Just so many other things to do to even bother going there

HISTA- No need to go on this again

Imagination- As much as I would be tempted to skip it, I might do it again next trip just cause the lines i'll be short

Any WS movie- Why see a film when there is so much else to experience, but out of all of them I would be more tempted to see wonders of china than any other

Studios-

Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast- Not into the stage shows

Sounds dangerous- Was tempted to go, but opted for TOT six times intsead

WWTBAM- Just not interested

Any other small attraction I missed should be assumed

AK- Never been there, probaly after everest, but not a whole day.

Are you sure about that? There's no guarantee you'll like the new closing speaker any more so than the current one. :)

I think the closing speaker is great, and if he were the only one who spoke, I would be okay with that (then it would pretty much be what Disneyland has). It's the speaker before him I've got the issue with (yes, I know what you meant). It's bad enough they let him on TV, I don't want to see him in the Magic Kingdom.
Based on what I've seen the last five years, I seriously doubt the President (hopefully) elected in 2008 could be worse. People couldn't be that ignorant three times in a row, could they?

I'm sure you have heard this time and time again, and even though you are not a fan of drops, I would suggest trying splash mountain just because it is so much more than a couple of drops. In my estimation and many others an this board, splash mountain is one of the best rides in the world not because of but inspite of it's thrill factor. It is visually amazing. If you are a fan of dark rides, this is a must. If you could suck it up and just go for it, I guarentee you it would be worth it.

With big thunder there really aren't many drops and it doesn't go too fast, it's just wild and a lot of fun.

Either way have fun :D
you gotta be kidding me. Did you read the whole post? If they can't hardly take the drop in PotC, then how are they gonna handle Splash? It's a great ride, but that's a big hill to go down, and if there is a fear or phobia, then I wouldn't be recommending it.

It is clear that different people have differing opinions on which rides they
like to ride and not ride. I guess this must be why they don't have only one
ride at Disney World. Go figure.
I do, however, see a pattern in the dislike for the Swiss Family Robinson
treehouse. Obviously a cute idea, (at the time), who's time has come.
Time to replace it with some thing new and different.

In all four disney parks I have done everything at least once. There are some rides that I do skip like:

MK
Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter & tea cups. They make me sick
SGE - Once was enough
Tom Sawyer and Liberty boat - Don't know I guess I really never see the ride and forget that it is there.
Indy speedway - Once I started driving which is 14 years now I kind of don't see the need to drive a car that really does not move off the track. Unless my newph comes along and then I ride with him to make him happy.
Plus anything that has a long line more that 40 minutes. Unless it is a favorite ride of mine.

AK
Don't really care for the park so I try not to go as much. Like once every 5 years

MGM
TOT - it scares me to death.
Star tour - did not see what the big deal was about.
Still need to do - Indiana Jones, Drew Carey and back lot tour.

EPCOT
Test Track - rode it too much and lost interest.
Space - rode it once to make me sick never again.

Like I said before I tried everything once and if I don't like it I may ride it in a few years. I go to Disney at least twice a year.

If you read her post you would have noticed that she said the drop on POTC was not entirely bad in her estimation.

Of course I understand fear and phobias, but if you don't attempt things that scare you, half the time no one would ever do anything.

I have a fear of heights yet I have done such things as ride roller coasters and climb tall ladders inspite of my fears.

I even worked for a painting company for 2 years and at one point worked on top of a 20 foot high scaffold while painting a church.

Mad Tea Party
Movies at World Showcase
Sounds Dangerous
Disney Playhouse Live

There are a few things I may skip one trip, but do the next, and if I skip them, it's not because I don't like them. I would would rather hit the ones I absolutely love.
