Yes
What were your dates of travel and how were the crowds here?

We arrived Oct 9th and it's been a complete madhouse. Trying to determine our trip next year and by no means do I want to deal with this again.

September 25-October 5
Crowds were low to moderate. Only needed to get Fast Passes for a few rides ( TSMM, JC, Soaring ). Depending on the day ( mid week ) a lot of E ticket rides were walk on to 10 minute waits, even with 20 minute posted times. Example on October 3, we rode Space Mountain 4 times within an hour according to the time stamps on our Photo Pass + card. Jungle Cruise was busy as it just finished its reno. AK and HS were similar. Avoided Epcot on the weekends as the F&W festival was just starting up, but was easy to navigate mid week.
Found the longest standby lines were for Character Meet and Greets ( Princesses ), typically an hour or so.
Weather was great too, mid 80's and saw less than an hour of rain over the 10 days.

We were in The World from Sept 17-23. Most rides were a walk on during the week with the exception of the usual Fantasy Land rides like Winnie and Pooh, Peter Pan. In Epcot, the wait for Mission Space was about 10 minutes but Soarin was about 35 minutes. The Magic Kingdom is always more crowded than EPCOT. The AK and Disney Studio's were a walk on except Everest was about 20 minutes and Toy Story Mania was a 90 minute wait with the daily supply of fast passes gone by noon. The weekend was totally different...very crowded and much longer lines.....and the MK was so crowded that you could hardly walk.....and it was still very very hot and humid. For my next trip, my plan is go sometime during the first 2 weeks in November, arrive on a Sunday evening and leave on Friday morning to avoid the weekend crowds. :cat:

I think I'm going back to last week September or first week November next year...When I was there 7th-11th, I was like where in the world did all these people come from in October???

Sept 3rd to 10th. We only had to fastpass TSMM, Test Track, Soarin', & Space Mountain (which wasn't really necessary, it only had a 30 minute wait but we were spoiled with short waits!)
Days with emh were definitely much more crowded, HM was about a 20 minute wait on emh days, and walk on without emh days.
We walked on everything in NFL, except Barnstormer and Dumbo, which both had 20 - 35 minute waits on emh days.

Seesh... everyones been saying it was bad right now because of FP+, I'm headed down next year in October so I hope it isn't bad like that next year!

We were there from 9/23-9/28.

We've gone the week after Thanksgiving the past 2 years and I'd say the crowds in September are a little bit busier and the wait times are about the same if not longer, which surprised me since we'd heard the crowds were the absolute lowest in late September.

I think you were affected by Columbus Day - 10/14 - people may have flown in on Thursday/Friday to take advantage of the long weekend. We have always gone the week before Thanksgiving week and it was low crowds until last year when that Monday was Veterans Day. Crowds were much heavier than I was used to. I'd avoid ANY days where schools could be closed when planning for next year.

We were there Friday Sept 13th - Sunday Sept 15 and decided if the crowd levels in the parks are always like that in mid-September then we are going to make more return trips during that time period. Weather was pleasant, warm enough to use the pool and water rides but not so hot that you melted in the sun. Entry lines into the park were almost nonexistent, most of the attractions had very little wait times and using FastPass and FastPass+ during this time was ALMOST not need (still needed for Test Track, Soarin' and Toy Story). The only line we waited in, it was a BIG ONE and by most a totally unforeseen mess, was trying to get to get to DHS for the Villians party on Friday night. From the time we started waiting on a bus to the time we arrived It took over 2 1/2 hours from Port Orleans Riverside.

We were there Sept. 12-16...weather pleasant to quite warm, crowds low, most rides/attractions were walk-on, restaurants taking walk-ins.
We were there Oct. 5-9...weather quite warm to hot, crowds low to moderate, most rides/attractions 10-20 minute wait, except for TSMM, TT, Soarin', restaurants had some availability for walk-ins but not a lot...could accommodate 2 and maybe 4. During this period, we were able to walk-on ToT and have the whole elevator to our family of 4...awesome!!!

Sept 18-25th was an absolute dream in terms of crowds and wait times. Most rides were 10-20 minute. I think we waited 40 for Enchanted Tales with Belle and walked onto Space, Splash, ToT, HM and several others a couple of times as well.

Fall break for colleges and F&W have been making October worse and worse in the past five years or so it seems.

I was there the first 3 weekends in September. Never had a problem with crowds. 2nd weekend we went on EE single rider line 4 times and never waited a minute. Went later in the day on EE and they didn't even have separate line for FP. Everyone walked right on.

However somehow I think Test Track and Soarin' would have an hour and a half wait during the zombie apocalypse...and people would still be getting in line!!!

We were there Sept 19 - 23 and the crowds felt very light. Mind you, we do early mornings in the parks, so that helps. Still- in most cases, you could ride popular things multiple times in a row right around rope drop with little to no wait. Mind you, I wasn't quite as aware of crowds this trip since we had a lot of secondary factors making us just thankful to be able to be there, but even my parents- who weren't traumatized like me- marveled at the low crowds. So, maybe my assessment was fairly accurate. Sorry you guys had such heavy crowds. You've got me rethinking my potential F&W long weekend w/DH next year- decisions.

We were at the parks between 9/22 and 9/27. MK on 9/22 was busier than we expected it to be, It rained most of the day on 9/23 so that cleared out the crowds at Epcot. Animal Kingdom wasn't busy at all, Hollywood Studios was manageable with fastpasses. We went to Downtown Disney two different nights and both times it was absolutely crazy. Friday we went back to Epcot for Food & Wine and found it to be extremely busy. But we were expecting that day to be busy. We have gone a couple of times in May and twice the beginning of June and was really expecting a big difference in crowds. We thought May was less crowded than September.

Fall Break? I know of at least five of my co-workers there right now, and several more that were there the beginning of October. We went a week later than our norm and found it really busy too. Think of changing to November, before Thanksgiving.
