What were your dates of travel and how were the crowds here?

We arrived Oct 9th and it's been a complete madhouse. Trying to determine our trip next year and by no means do I want to deal with this again.

Sept 19-23rd and the crowds felt very light. We did start each day early, but had no problems throughout each day to hit everything we wanted. We are debating right now Sept - Oct - or early Dec for next year...I would love to hit food & wine ( my fave) but low crowds would be so nice...still debating...

August 31 - September 7. After the Labor Day crowds left Sunday night/Monday morning it was awesome. We rarely had to use FastPass and didn't have much of a wait for anything, including buses!

Already talked to you about this but I'll post on here too. We were there Sept 7 and then again Sept 12-15. On the 7th, we went to Epcot and when we got the to Land for our 4:30ADR at Garden Grill, Soarin still had FP available for 6:30pm. I have NEVER seen FPs available for Soarin that late in the day before! When we went back after the cruise, again, same low crowds. Walked onto Splash Mountain at noon on the 13th (that was a MNSSHP day so I think the crowds went elsewhere, probably to DHS for the villains event cause I heard that was a MADHOUSE) Even so, Thursday at Epcot was dead and Saturday at MGM was dead too. The last day, Sunday, we went to MK and I know Saturday and Sunday at MK tend to be busier but nope. Low crowds. Love that time of year and if we ever go back (I think we will after the girls cruise in 2015) it will be in September. A bummer to miss the F&W Festival but that's not really a big draw for me.

We were there Sept 19 - 23 and the crowds felt very light. Mind you, we do early mornings in the parks, so that helps. Still- in most cases, you could ride popular things multiple times in a row right around rope drop with little to no wait. Mind you, I wasn't quite as aware of crowds this trip since we had a lot of secondary factors making us just thankful to be able to be there, but even my parents- who weren't traumatized like me- marveled at the low crowds. So, maybe my assessment was fairly accurate. Sorry you guys had such heavy crowds. You've got me rethinking my potential F&W long weekend w/DH next year- decisions.
We were there during the same time period, and totally agree. DD14 even commented on how she couldn't believe that we didn't have to wait to go on rides, she usually goes with her grandparents and they always go during the busier times like thanksgiving and Christmas. I think test track was the longest amount of time we spent on a ride, and that was just the whole design your car process seemed to take really long. Otherwise, we will be looking to go again around that time, but probably a week later as we missed the F&W Festival by a day.

9/11 thru 9/18 No crowds at all. Most attractions were walk on, such as Splash Mountain, Philharmagic, Space Mountain, Everest, Kilamanjaro. The longest waits were 20 mins for Peter Pan and 30 mins for Toy Story Midway Mania. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus either, it was really a great time to go.TOT and RNR had 10 minute waits all day and night, and the only time there was a crowd was at Fantasmic.

if i'm honest last year we went early June time, and that seemed a lot quieter than this year in Late September. we were shocked at just about how many children there was considering school had just started for most people. but anyway we had a blast, just made sure we left the hotel room with a lot of patience and our Brazilian head on (we are English btw) to deal with the rudeness of some of them.

We went to DL and CA this fall instead of our usual WDW trip Sept 12 to the 19th.But usually is a good time to go to WDW for us.
Ya might want to try Cali next trip, the weekends are a little busy with locals but the whole experience is so laid back.
We were even there for fri the 13th and it really wasn't that bad.

You know, I forgot about that as well, during our trip 19th - 24th, we hardly ever waited for a bus, I think one time leaving the MK, it seemed like we saw at least four buses for every resort except ours, but otherwise, we were in and out really quick. Even at DTD, and that is usually the worst at night.

We went 09/14 thru 09/21 and very low crowd levels. We went on EE 4 times in a row and TOT 5 times in a row with 5 to 10 minute waits. Most rides had 20 minute waits and we did see some 45 minute wait times on the big Ticket rides but not many and usually around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. A lot of Brazilians were in the parks but didn't see any BTG or obnoxious behavior out of them.

I would go in November to see all The Christmas stuff but our AP's expire 10/8 so that is the last day we can use them. I am looking to either go...

8/27 - 9/10

Or

9/18 - 10/2

Not really sure yet. I have arrived on Labor Day before and really had no issues with crowds at all. Plus doing Aug/Sept I can get an extra day in being that there is a holiday in that time frame as well. PLUS that means I can leave sooner with less a wait too!! Haha.

Man the torture in planning a trip... aka American Problems...
